2.5 star ratingthere were water marks down the wall... and building work across the road from us. 05 July 2010
5.0 star ratingFriendly staff at reception, no fuss booking in. Couldn't access the room safe but a member of staff came to the room straightaway and sorted the problem. Breakfast offered good choices for most tastes.MJT - Coventry17 July 2010
3.5 star ratingFront desk staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The carpet in our hallway had an unpleasant smell. The shower was overly powerful and hard to operate, although the separate handheld unit worked fine. We had a torn sheet and the first night it wasn't made properly so at the bottom part of the bed the mattress pad was exposed about 6".20 August 2010
4.5 star ratingvalue of hotel always depends on price paid, this visit the hotel was a very good price for this quality. All hotel prices in London go up and down according to demand. This hotel can be 50% more per night. I like the ability to access district/circle or central with a short walk. Quality room this time of a good size. Good quality hotel for this price range.noneclive weymouth22 August 2010

4.0 star ratingConveniently situated and quiet. Smart building and decor looked fresh. Our room was fine for a short stay and the shower was good - plenty of power and hot water. Staff all very courteous and efficient. Dining room very busy at breakfast but our wait was very short. Good value for a sight seeing stay.Room a little small. Better pillows would be appreciated.Seren22 May 2012
3.0 star ratingGood locationI am firmly of the opinion that Hotels just 'dump' guests who book their hotel through other sites. We booked this hotel through a pre-paid arrangement some 8 to 9 months ago, we were given a very small room in the basement with a boarded up window as construction work was being carried out in the rear yard. WHY couldn't we have a nice room with a nice view, it just appears to be that the policy is to give the smallest room with the view of the dustbins to customers who dont book directly with the hotel and who don't pay the FULL inflated priced. I WOULD LIKE A REPLY TO MY COMMENTS AND A REASON WHY WE HAD TO PUT UP WITH A SMALL ROOM WITH A BOARDED UP WINDOW.Paul Deans09 October 2012

4.5 star ratingUnfortunately I was in the basement and there was an overwhelming smell of paint and obviously the outlook from the room was poor. Otherwise everything was excellent.DessieDessie24 May 2013
