3.5 star ratingAll in all a good hotel in respect of value for money. The 4 nights to pay 3 was also a positive incentive. Breakfast including the willingness of staff is much above average.Rooms in the 3rd floor (cannot comment on other floors) are far too small while the wardrobe is nearly unexistable.18 January 2009
2.0 star ratingIf our arrival and stay had been better managed I think there may have been more satisfied customers - public areas pleasant and breakfast first day fine. Second day all they had left was sliced white bread and boxed cereals! When we arrived tried told us all they had was 2 singles or a twin in the basement sited between bin store and busy noisy kitchen. When I demanded a refund so we could go elsewhere they offered us a double (when we had booked a twin two months earlier) A pity really becasue I suspect there may have been better rooms which we glimpsed en route to our dirty odd-shaped room with no furniture and in desperate need of painting.20 January 2009
3.5 star ratingthe hotel is very charming and in a very good area of London. Very near Hyde Park. Quite area, no noise even if the room is on the street side. The cleaning is good.Room too small, there was not enough space to move in two in the same time. Breakfast room with few tables. People had to wait out for having breakfast!17 March 2009
3.0 star ratingThe beds are very comfortable. It's really nice that you can order your breakfast for the next morning and that they deliver it to your room for free. There is no ventilation in the room. So it's really hot. Even after having the window open for our entire stay 31 October 2011
1.5 star ratingIt was my daughters 21st Birthday, we spent more that we would usually on a hotel as we wanted it to be a special occasion. We were given a horrible room the the basement with hardly any space to move around and almost no natural light. We were awoken in the middle of the night by one of the other hotel guests being drunk and extremely loud, banging on walls etc. We awoke very tired, in a bad mood and we appeared to have gotten bitten from whatever may have been lurking in the bed sheets. Would not stay here again if you payed us.chewy18 May 2013
