3.5 star ratingVery friendly and helpful staff. The room was very, very small and the heating did not work.27 October 2008
3.5 star ratingThe staff was friendly and kind. I liked the possibility to use the internet free on hotel´s own computer. The single standard room was far too small. I think it was about 6-6,5m2 with the bathroom (1,5-max.2m2). The bathroom was nice; clean and renewed and there was enough space. My estimate about the size of the room only is 4,5m2. I thought there would have been (in addition to a bed)a table and enough room for clothes in the closet but no. The room had only a bed (that was nice), a tv (that didn´t work well enough), a very thin closet and next to it a tiny floor space to keep a luggage (locked). The quality of the room´s furniture and the wooden floor were good but there should have been at least twice as much space than there were! So I was very dissapointed with the size of the room. Never been in such a small room. There also should have been facilities to make tea/coffee.26 April 2009
1.5 star ratingfire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning. no proper evacuation procedure. check in very slow and we were ignored by staff.30 May 2009
2.5 star ratingVery cheap and centralI booked a triple room which turned out to be so small, it was on two levels with a spiral staircase connecting the three beds. I got claustrophobia in the middle of the night and had to go down to reception to sit there until daylight before returning to the room. Stair carpet was filthy.James from Ballyclare27 May 2009
2.0 star ratingThis hotel was a 2min walk away from paddington tube station so that was excellent.I asked for a room with a good view and I was given a small rear facing room that looked a wall about 2ft away from the window. Also when booking this I was told my deal included room and a full English breakfast, when it came to breakfast it was a continental and not a very good 1 at that-2 types of rolls, 1cheese and 1ham. When I questioned the staff about my full English I was told " no no no we don't have the facillities for that" so I ask why is this hotel offering full English on their booking forms????? Very dissapointed.Royal eagle26 May 2009

3.0 star ratingIn our room it was like lying next to the street. It was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. Receptionist was an arrogant idiot. There was a nice folder in the hotel that staff should be treated with respect but they or especially he should do this with guests as well. I felt not really comfortable and I will never stay in this hotel again. 27 May 2011
2.0 star ratinggute zentrale Lage, ruhiges Zimmer, sehr sauber, professionelles Personal. 07 June 2012
2.5 star ratingQuite cheap, great locationVery small room, could not move inside. Curtains very dirty. Very noisy elevator just next to room. Nuno22 December 2012
4.5 star ratingsmooth and easy check in, happy to have been upgraded to a triple room and a great location!the rooms are smaller than average.H23 December 2012
4.5 star ratingA no hassle experience. Pleasant staff meant I felt at home right away, the whole place was very clean, not a spot of dust, hair or any mess in my small but functional room (It was a cheap single room). The bed had a tendency to roll on it's castors when knocked but not really an issue is it. Decor was modern and well made. I didn't visit the bar / bistro area so can't comment on that but it looked good from the pictures online. I would stay again. Some major roadworks or building going on nearby, so not perfect for the jetlagged. Too cold to open windows at this time of year anway.Bennyboy25 January 2013
Ingen gratis Wi Fi Stefan 13 September 2013
4.5 star ratingThe outside of the hotel was very well kept, with beautiful flowers, and in a great location just a few minutes' walk from Paddington station. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and very clean, with modern decor and amenities. Excellent value for money and we will definitely be staying here again! We couldn't lock our bedroom door but this could have been due to our own stupidity! The only other 'negatives' were that the shower was really small and as we were on the ground floor there was quite a lot of noise from the road early in the morning. But these points didn't hinder our stay in any way.Anonymous 14 July 2016
