2.5 star ratingbeautiful area, hotel looking good from the outside, good breakfast, very good information about sightseeing and ticket buying for museum etc. only 5 min away from BAYSWATER and QUEENSWAY underground.no elevator, no grooms (to help with baggage), narrow stairs and rooms, no decoration, no structure, low facilities09 April 2009
3.5 star ratingWell situated, Friendly staff, Room very small (could touch both walls by stretching out arms Under renovation, so some parts very shoddy Gromit03 May 2009
1.5 star ratingIf we had not paid in advance we would not have stayed!! The shower room was more of a cubicle and as there was no light in there we had to leave the door open to use the toilet. We did not risk the shower as it did not look very hygenic (or the handbasin). The wafer thin mattress was pathetic and the single, thin pillow inadequate. The place seemed to be full of foreign students who were sitting on the stairs in groups and making it even more tricky to climb the 2 flights with heavy luggage. They were also very noisy during the night, talking very loud and banging doors after 2am. We would not come again or send anyone here. 25 May 2009

1.5 star rating- the place of the hotel (Bayswater).- whenI came to the hotel, the reception didn't know about my booking and even the hotel was fully booked!!!! - long and tough stairs, there isn't lift (elevator). - the quality of the hotel is very poor. - the map of the hotel is wrong. - the room and the bathroom is too small.Very standard hotel19 October 2010

4.0 star ratingGood location, cleanThe beds are small; pillows are hard; poor blackout blinds, but that is what you get for this price. Mikhali21 May 2013
3.0 star ratingclose to Bayswater or Queensway station (Metro) so very convenient to visit famous spots. Wifi access is not free and this is quite inconvient during travelling. Why not also sell Wifi card that guests can have the internet access while in London.18 September 2013
4.0 star ratingThe room was clean, situated in a very good location There was no warm water in the bathroom and so I had to have a cold shower in the morning which wasn't very pleasant and I would imagine will be even less pleasant in winterRach21 October 2013
Anonym 28 October 2014
4.0 star ratingGreat location, close to amenities and public transport.Décor à bit dated in the bedroom and bathroom. Our room had a cute little rooftop terrace which was useful because it was very hot so we could keep the window open. Lovely staff and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.Anonymous 08 September 2016
