This comfortable hotel is located near Paddington, in the very heart of London on a garden square with no through traffic so that guests can enjoy a quiet place to stay in. Guests may find a broad range of dining and entertaining options in the surrounding area. London City Airport is 22 km away and it is 35 km to London Heathrow. This charming 54-bedroom hotel consists of 3 elegant Victorian townhouses. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a TV lounge and a breakfast room. All guest rooms are equipped with a host of useful amenities to make guestsâ stay even more enjoyable, including TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Most have a private shower and a WC en suite unless otherwise specified. A direct dial telephone, Internet access and a double bed are provided in all accommodation as standard.

| 3.5 star rating | The hotel location is excellent, just steps away from Paddington station and situated on a quiet leafy square. They also have a very strict security policy meaning we have always felt very safe. The entire hotel including our room was very clean and the cleaning of the room was done daily. There is cooked breakfast in the morning, not totally delicious but filling. | This is a budget hotel in a good location, which means the room are VERY VERY tiny. A size of a shoebox, literally. And the bathroom is so super miniature we could not believe it. I guess it is fine for a night but for more than one night I would consider spending a bit more money and upgrade to a hotel with rooms of an acceptable size. Seriously, our luggage could not fit into the room (we had one suitcase each)! Another big minus are the stairs - extremely narrow and there is no lift. Our room was on the 4th floor and dragging the luggage up and down the precariously tiny stairs was an ordeal. | 27 November 2008 | |

At checkin I hadn't printed out my booking slip, which was needed, so he helped me printed it out at reception. One fast easy to use free internet PC mostly unused. There are lots of leaflets about things to do in London and lots of maps on the walls so you can find your around London - so great for tourist. Only a cheap hotel, and very good value. | Breakfast was nice, only critism is the bacon was dry and not very tasty.
