2.5 star ratingIt was very clean. It was terribly over-priced for what you got (e.g. £15.50 to upgrade to an english breakfast that was shrivelled up under a heat lamp). The staff weren't particularly welcoming and made numerous mistakes especially in house-keeping (e.g. condiments not filled up, taxi booked for the wrong time or not at all, an ironing board dumped in room without request...).17 August 2008
3.5 star ratingWas only there for one night. Staff were pleasant and helpful.Rooms were a bit 'tired' and in need of a makeover. They were clean and had facilities e.g. en suite, coffee making, trouser press, hairdryer. An iron would be a good addition.14 September 2008
5.0 star ratingi found the hotel @ the staff first class.25 September 2008
4.5 star ratingAs we checked in quite late in the evening, there was no que and staff was there ready to greet you. WE were also advised at this point that we had been upgraded to a suite. Bar staff were also very friendly and knowlageable. We were advised that we had been upgraded to a suite however on entering the room there was nothing different to a regular double room apart from an extra chair. If I had paid for a suite I would have been higly dissapointed. The hinges on our bathroom door were loose so the door wouldnt close, I reported this to reception at departure.14 January 2009

4.5 star ratingGreat hotel in a lovely area of London. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and the rooms have always been fantastic. I've stayed at numerous hotels in London and this is the only one I have come back too. It's a really nice hotel and a good location. Some of the staff can come off a little rude, but you get that everywhere. Also, the full English breakfast was ok, but not the best I've ever had, especially for the price of the breakfast. The food wasn't kept topped up, if we had come down for breakfast any later I don't think we would have had much choice left.Jules12 April 2011
4.5 star ratingThe bed was very hard - not very comfortable - a mattress topper would have solved the problem. Oliver15 June 2011

5.0 star ratingWas really impressed with hotel. I have put a review on Trip Advisor because I felt some I had read on that site must have been on a different plant to me!30 July 2011
4.0 star ratingRequested adjacent rooms, assured that we had been allocated adjacent rooms when checking booking, on arrival rooms were on same floor but not near each other. When subject raised with reception a closer room was found. 12 August 2011
4.5 star ratingThe hotel is well situated and the staff were very helpful. Both rooms (1 twin and 1 double) were very comfortable and clean. The air-conditioning in the double room was, unfortunately, not working properly. The temperature was set at 25 degrees and we couldn't lower it. As the maintenance staff had gone home (it was after midnight) the staff brought a fan up to our room, however this had little or no effect. As the night wore on the temperature rose and my husband and I got very little sleep!Diz27 September 2011
4.5 star ratingComfortable, clean room. Good choice for breakfast. Saff helpful and friendly. Some traffic noise. 19 October 2011
4.0 star ratingEverything lovely and clean. Staff very helpful in ordering taxi's, helping with luggage etc. Bed comfortable, room conditioning didn't need to be altered. Bathroom small but adequate and lovely and clean and modern. Fridge is a great benefit. Had a very enjoyable stay :-)Maid did come into room at 8.00am!!! Remembered the do not disturb sign after that and no further problems. A bit of a treck to walk from the tube though but a taxi not too badly priced. Couldn't look in the mirror sat on the chair as it was placed too high - I needed 3 pillows to be able to see to dry my hair (I'm not that small, 5 fooot 5!). Man next door had TV on loudly from 5am to 1.30 pm therefore my sleep wasn't great. Had it not been for him it would have been lovely!Bosseyed16 October 2011

4.5 star ratingGreat location on the corner of Regents park, a short stroll from St Johns Wood, the whole place was beautiful when we stayed in mid November, autumn colours everywhere. Staff were great and the breakfast was fantastic value, great quality, really set us up for the dayI think the rooms are showing their age, they are clean and well serviced, and the bathrooms looked to have been recently revamped, so every worked, was just too pokey for me.13 November 2012
4.5 star ratingI got a very good price for the quality of the hotel, the room wasn't the largest I have ever stayed in but perfectly adequate. No real complaints at all!Tom13 November 2012
5.0 star rating A bargain a really good hotel in St. John's Wood with a particularly welcoming and not overly fancy restaurant serving good food and a particularly fine breakfast where you can eat your fill with no hassle. The location is ideal for Oxford Street and Regent's Park with the Wellington Hospital opposite. Its a great value hotel we have used for several years. literarylondon13 November 2012
4.5 star ratingVery helpful staff. Good breakfast. Bit of a walk to nearest tube but frequent buses very close so no problem (get Oyster card and enjoy easy London transport!) Upgraded to Junior Suite for extra £50 per night - bigger room and perfectly OK but probably would settle for standard room another time. Very likely to use this hotel again.Tim C04 December 2012

3.5 star ratingGood location, close to St Johns wood tube station. Only a few minutes walk to shops on Baker Street. Staff are professional and food is decent. One of the bath towels in our bathroom was dirty but placed there neatly folded. The wireless keyboard used to type for internet on the tv is an absolute nightmare, very difficult to use. Would not recommend using this service.Preety23 February 2013
3.0 star ratingEvery thing was Ok and the room and bathroom cleanTired in parts. Bed uncomfortable. No a/c and rail line under hotel makes open window noisy. Breakfast a little bland and not a good continental alternative.Smithy12 April 2013

5.0 star ratingGreat location and food. Good sized rooms for central London. Very good value. Executive room had a large bed and a two seater sofa.We were given an executive room. The decor was a bit tired. However, we have stayed at this hotel previously and the standard room was in excellent condition. Air Conditioning didn't work very well in this room.DogsBarker03 June 2013
