3.0 star ratingThe hotel was in an excellent locatioin within a couple of minutes walk of Paddington ststionHotel was spread over several buildings, all with their own often narrow stairs. There were no lifts and my room was on the fourth floor. I survived, but that might have been different if there was a fire in the hotel29 September 2008
3.5 star ratingClean and confortable. The location is very good. Close to the tube and bus stations Breakfast was simple but adequate for the price Too many stairs with no lift.17 November 2008

2.5 star ratingvery convenient location near Paddington station and tube. relatively clean and quiet. The staff I met were very pleasant.breakfast food dreadful!! have stayed in similarly priced places where the food has been much better. Breakfast hours not ideal if one needs to be gone earlier than 7.30am. Shower head in my room was broken therefore had to hold the attachment. No bathmat in the shower room. Tea making facilities in the rooms would be appreciated as there was nowhere to make a hot drink.Machines are not acceptable as can taste coffee in everything!!28 September 2009
3.5 star ratingGood position. Correct price/quality ratioNo glasses in the room. Some cleaning problems in the bathroomkrugger03 November 2009
3.0 star ratingClean, comfortable, and ideally located for central London attractionsAs my partner was disabled stairs down to dining area were particularly difficult to negotiate Requested & paid extra charge for breakfast to be delivered on the second morning, but only recieved one,and despite contacting reception situation was not rectified. On arrival staff were unable to advise/assist on the issue of parking outside the establishment, as there was no hotel residents car park, and the signage outside was ambiguous.20 October 2009
3.5 star ratingThe hotel is in a brilliant location, and was an excellent base for visiting other places. The room was very shabby and tired looking, but was clean.sassy01 November 2009

Grenouille08 September 2010
4.5 star ratingthe receptionist was very helpful and polite. The hotel was very central to alot of attractions and sights. breakfast was good and staff helpful we had a room on the 4 th floor which was very quiet could do with a lick of paint and new furniture in reception 23 November 2010
4.0 star ratingFriendly staff, very good location (very close to tube station and to central London),clean bedroom and bathroom, I expressed preference for a ground floor room upon booking and got it, luggage keeping facilitiesThe shower temperature was a bit temperemental, it was difficult to get a constant comfortable hot water flow There should be obvious signs (and maybe requests from staff) for guests to show respect to other guests and refrain from being noisy late at night BaronnePOPO14 January 2011
WC.06 October 2012

4.0 star ratingThe reception staff were very helpful and friendly. 25 June 2013
Hotel staff at reception were very helpful and friendly Room was just okay although they have really nice rooms but if you pay through a booking company and get for cheaper rate than theirs rooms are not so great. Breakfast was small but very nice Room was clean. Some breakfast staff not so friendly We were put in a wheelchair access room and the sink in the toilet was very low and when we showered the whole floor was soaked out to the living space13 August 2013
3.5 star ratingHotel is in a Great location. The rooms have the potential to be very grand with large fireplaces, high ceilings and good views across the green. Bathroom and bedding were clean. Had a bit of a bedsit feel about it. Bathroom had a nasty smell inside Mattresses were too springy and not firm enoughMark A04 November 2013
2.5 star ratingYou get what you pay for. Stairs were a nightmare - 3 x 65 year olds on 4th floor with no lift13 December 2013
Linda02 July 2014
4.0 star ratingThe hotel is very close to Paddington Station. Bed and bathroom clean. Staff is very friendly. Room very small but adequate if on short visit to London and one does not intend to spend much time in room.
