3.0 star ratingGreat location and very clean. The breakfast was included and there is was plenty of choice. We will definitely be back.We checked in early and left our bags which was great so was told to collect our keys later. When we did collect the keys we weren't told anything I.e checking out time, breakfast times or location but we works it out. Anonymous 15 October 2015

2.0 star ratinghotel food for evening meal was nicethe room was noisy, the telephone did not work, had to use mobile to phone reception, the shower was dirty, the breakfast room was horrendous, although food was good, space to dine and volume of people was rediculous. the street noise from 441 ment i did not get a good night sleep and this effected my performance for work, when i complained i was told, have you got your window shut, the answer of course was yes, i complained 3 times, to be told sorry cannot move you, this was horrendous!will never stay here again!30 October 2008

5.0 star ratingA well situated hotel for the shops and the thaetre. The room was (as we expected),on the small side, but was well equipped and very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful, including a very good concierge. Great breakfast, lots of choice(hot and cold food) I would certainly use this hotel for future visits to London. 07 December 2008

3.0 star ratingThe location of the hotel is perfect if you as me want to be in the central of London (and be close to "everything"), the rooms are more than ok - almost* everything needed is in there-, the staff is always helpful but it was very busy when I was there, hence the lower points on the check-in-question.*Ive stayed in double rooms at your hotel earlier, quite a few times, but travelled alone this time and think that the bathrooms should be equiped the same in single rooms as in double rooms. That wasnt nice to not find body lotion for example, as Im being used to not having to bring that myself. Breakfast was not good, according to me. Boring bread, not too fresh warm dishes, no vegetables and grumpy girls that closed coffeemachines and started to sweep around your feet at 10 30 sharp! It felt as if they wanted to kick the guests out. That could be improved. The pool was unfortunately closed, Im not sure if that was mentioned on the website? Could be useful to know in forehand.08 December 2008

3.0 star ratingcentral locationvery dated rooms the rooms were very dark with little natural light and no central light fitting in the room shower base was blocked and kept flooding24 December 2008
3.5 star ratingThe location was great and our room was at the back away from the main road so was also fairly quiet at night. The staff were helpful. This is a great hotel to use as a base to see London and the tourist attractions but not suitable for spending long periods of time in other than to sleep. The first room I was given was extremely small and only had a shower in a tiny bathroom. I requested to be upgraded to a larger room with a bath as I had my young son with me. Although this did not seem to be problem and the staff were helpful they then sent me to a room which was exactly the same as the one we had just left. I was eventually given a larger room with a bath at no extra cost but had had to drag my luggage around the hotel three times.07 January 2009
3.5 star ratingGood location, pleasant staff, rooms are 'value for money'. My Danish colleague was very impressed by the room.We were in a hurry at breakfast time, so I did not have time to complain, but the hot food eggs, bacon was almost cold and not eatable!!! The hash browns were solid, when you tried to cut them they broke into pieces.06 February 2009

2.5 star ratingCentral location. Clean. Good basic amenities.Restaurant staff were off hand with a "couldn't care less" attitude to my questions. If something had run out on the breakfast buffet you had to be really persistent before they would go and get some more. One or two couldn't understand basic English. One morning I was in the breakfast area at the end of the session and witnessed staff taking uneaten bread rolls from customers' dirty plates in the dishwashing area and then returning them to the buffet for other customers to take. I was disgusted and am considering reporting this to the local environmental health department.Michael22 February 2009

4.5 star ratingWithin walking distance of many theatres/shopping areas. Easy reach of other places of interest.Rooms in need of refurbishment. We had a room that was once a smoking room and not as pleasant as a room we had previously stayed in. 07 April 2009
4.0 star ratingHotel very central for travelling around LondonBreakfast facilities not organized, not enough tables for guests, large ques of people for breakfast. One of the beds in the room was wet, it appeased that the mattress had been washed and not dried therefore the sheets had got wet.10 April 2009
4.5 star ratingThe breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice. We had dinner in the Italian restaurant and the food there was great too. The best thing for us though, was that it was within walking distance of the theatre we were going to. All the staff were very helpful, especially the staff at the concierge desk. I wouldn't have any hesitation in staying there again if I was going to one of the nearby theatres.I felt it was a lot of money as the room was very small and the bathroom tiny. I wouldn't like to be a fat person staying in that room. That said, it was clean and everything we needed and I would stay there again.26 May 2009
3.5 star ratingpleasant staff, great location. breakfast was a little chaotic. may be less like a 'school canteen' if there was a central carousel which allowed access all round rather than force people to form lengthy queues CEJ27 August 2009
3.5 star ratingLocation good. Varied choice for breakfastVery dissapointed with the room as several things did not work. It was a very hot evening and the fan did not work. The television in the bedroom did not work. It was quite late on when we returned so we did not tell reception that night. When I went to use the hairdryer the next morning it did not work. We called reception and they got someone to replace it about 30mins later so we were hanging around just waiting for me to dry my hair which was quite frustrating. When we checked out the girl on reception appoliogised for these things and asked if we had already paid for our room. As we had already paid she just appologised. Although we were happy with the price we had paid for the room initially we feel very dissapointed that the room was of poor quality. We were happy with the location but feel that nothing was done to turn our negative experience into a positive one and we left feeling unhappy with our stay and so would not return to your hotel. 31 August 2009
3.5 star ratingThe hotel is situated in the centre of London and is very convenient. We could reach London attractions on foot. The room was quite small but clean. The quality of breakfast was not so good. I think we shall return to it next time we shall visit London.31 August 2009

3.5 star ratingA lovely breakfast was provided and the hotel is very conveniently situated. Good value for money. The concierge services were also very good. The greeting at check-in when we arrived was not particularly welcoming. The room was quite small and very, very warm. It was in fact almost impossible to sleep on one of the nights as the window could not even be opened due to the level of noise outside.Very narrow pillows were provided. They were about half the width of the single beds. The corridors etc were quite noisy in the morning and late in the evening. Cleaning staff were not particularly quiet as they walked around the hotel in the morning. We were woken by them having a 10 minute conversation outside our room. 30 October 2011
5.0 star ratingFantastic hotel, clean tidy, staff pleasant.worth every penny12 October 2011
4.5 star ratingthis is in a prime location and a reasonable priced hotel we have stayed in a few hotels round about and they dont compare with this one. nothing was to much trouble we only had breakfast and couldnt complain.the only negative i could say the room we had was a little on the small size not all of them are as we stayed here last year and that room was alot bigger.21 November 2011

2.5 star ratingGood central location. Breakfast ok.Overcrowded with coach tours, bad traffic and people noise during the night from the street even with window fully closed, room too bright in the morning with no black out curtains, breakfast room overcrowded and badly designed, single room tinyCharlie15 March 2013
4.0 star ratingThe location.Polite staff in reception area.THE BREAKFAST AREA IS A DISASTER! I have stayed at this hotel whole in London since 1992.The breakfast area has changed since I stayed there last time in 2008.I talked to the manager- since I do come from a "hotel family" myself. He broke rule No 1. Do not EVER argue or be defensive towards a guest. LISTEN! He DID NOT. It feels like a school cafeteria. Loud noisy. The lightening is terrible. The wentilation is not adecate, since the windows were steemed. In Sweden a place like that would have been closed down. When I have breakfast, I want a nice quiet cozy area.St.Giles is everything BUT that.. I was there before "the rush". Which should not matter. Sooner or later you will lose out, because of the breakfast are.10 March 2013

4.0 star ratingStaff very helpful. Wrong room booked, double with bath instead of requested twin with shower, but staff sorted out quite quickly. Very central for theatres and galleries.Cold coffee at Breakfast, obviously not fresh.. Total self-service rather difficult for me to manage as I need to use a walking stick.21 May 2013

4.0 star ratingGreat position. Effiicient and friendly Receptionists.Shower room was new, clean and tasteful but so tiny that the basin was actually inside the standard-sized shower cubicle, meaning you banged into it when showering.bugsycat09 July 2013
4.5 star ratingGreat hotel, with easy access to central London. Rooms were a wee bit on the small side but the cleanliness of them made up for this. Breakfast was included in the price and was great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Only real negative was the marketing of the swimming pool, this was attached to the hotel as part of the leisure facilities but was not really aimed at families. Firstly paying £5 per person for an hour was very expensive and secondly the pool was split into swimming lanes which did not really cater for children and you only know this once you have paid and are in the swimming pool itself.Mbionda31 July 2013
3.5 star ratingNice rooms, perfect location in central London, very good breakfast. The hotel have too few elevators. The constant waiting for available lifts was dreadful! This is why I rated 2 points on facilities. It was very hot in London during the stay, and the lack of aircondition in the room was making it hard to sleep. I also find paying for wifi in 2013 unnecessary. Every pub and restaurant in London offers free wifi for paying customers. So should the hotels do in my opinion. Kind of greedy this paying wifi thing. Just my opinion. SE Gjolmesli25 August 2013
4.5 star ratingHotel staff very efficient and helpful would stay there again.Lifts and there are 4 of them slow in comparison to other hotels i've stayed in.31 August 2013
3.5 star rating To many people at the hotel, kew at breakfast, kew at elevators. 03 September 2013

4.0 star ratingroom was very clean, fantastic location. breakfast was good but the sausages didn't taste very nice. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. and we will certainly stop there again. 3.0 star ratingConsierge var veldig bra. Disse hjalp til med alt; spm om severdigheter og bestilling av drosjer. Resepsjonen henviste til disse på spm. Så ei mus i gangen i 6 etasje..... Dessuten ingen ac i rom, veldig varmt. Mye støy ute.Anonym 02 August 2014
Anonym 15 October 2014
3.5 star ratingGreat location with appealing facilities. The Receptionist wasnt that helpful. I arrived early and she wouldn't let me go to my room. With the amount of rooms they have, you would think she could have put me in another one. When she wouldnt budge, she wasnt helpful at all. She didnt tell me where anything was or anything. She could have made me feel more welcome, especially because she wouldnt let me go to a room. I was hot and tired after travelling and a smiling, pleasant attitude would have helpedAnonymous 24 March 2015
3.5 star ratingVery convenient for theatres, Covent Garden and getting about London. Only 15/20 min walk from Euston. 2mins to Tottenham Court Tube. Standard twin room a bit small but not unusual for London. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit canteen like but good choice, quick and plenty of it. Had a snack in the Hudson Bar. Good food, good service and lively. Would stay again.Only marked down cleanliness due to a tide mark in the loo, which I felt an extra scrub would have removed and evidence of some form of sticky tape residue round the tap. The rest, the shower etc, was spotless. Small problem, that the sink was very slow to empty, suspect a blockage, and quickly filled to the top if you cleaned teeth with the tap running! Also if you are a bit large, the towels are small!! Nothing negative enough to prevent a return visit.Anonymous 04 December 2015
4.0 star ratingGreat location. Well equipped gym under hotel. Frank from Melbourne 18 July 2017
3.5 star ratingGood central hotel and reception and conciege very helpful!Booked room for two adults and infant and no bed for infant! Found clump of hair on floor of shower room! One of breakfast waitresses told my granddaughter to shush when she was talking! Hotel is supposed to be child friendlyLin18 November 2016
4.0 star ratingStaff very friendly, great price and great location.Room was quite small with view of the side alley. No free wifi. No air conditioning so the room was very hot but they do provide a fan.Anonymous 15 December 2016
3.5 star ratingLäget är helt perfekt, gångavstånd till t.ex Picadilly Cirkus. Ett av få hotel numer som man behöver betala för wifi, rätt så dyrt dessutom.Dennis16 March 2016
4.5 star ratingVery friendly welcome from hotel staff, breakfast was good, good selection of fruit, cereals, english breakfast and continental. Roomy breakfast area, we found a table easily both mornings. Excellent location we walked everywhere as it was so close to the theatres, china town, oxford street, euston etc. Room was clean. The rooms were quite warm with the heating off, we were on the quiet side of the hotel away from Tottenham court road/ oxford street so were able to sleep with the window open however not sure how comfortable it'd be in the height of summer. The bed wasn't the comfiest, we found it quite hard, we were able to sleep so it wasn't horrendous but it was a little disappointing having spent a lot of money on accommodation (albeit the price was typical of london prices), however, I have put value for money at 4 because for everything else, as described above it was perfect.
