4.5 star ratingLovely spacious rmodern room in a central location06 January 2009
5.0 star ratingThe hotel was great02 January 2009
1.5 star ratingThe room had bad ventilation and even though I was given a non-smoking room there was a crack between the wall and floorr where smoke entered my room from below. I checked out one day early due to my smoke allergy. I will never stay at this hotel again.24 February 2009
2.5 star ratingThe room was incredibly small for the price and so not good value at all. If this is how all the rooms are I certainly would not stay in the hotel again as Hiltons and Holiday Inn rooms are much larger for the same price or less in central London. No bedside light, just a spotlight in the ceiling above your head that shone straight into your eyes. The security system in the lifts was not working and the lift system seemed very slow and inefficient. Overall although recently refurbished the hotel seemed pockey and characterless. 15 March 2009
4.0 star ratingVery welcoming and helpful staff and a lovely room. The usual kerfuffle over whether or not breakfast had been pre-paid, and the only way to prove it is to head back to your room to collect the paperwork, before returning to breakfast. Why do hotels do this? It means I won't stay there again, as in my mind, the whole ethos of a hotel should be about service. The music in the bar (and again at breakfast) was too intrusive and not pleasant, although others may enjoy it, but I would hardly describe it as relaxing. Anonymous 12 February 2017
5.0 star ratingwe arrived & Nialh the customer service manager was excellent our booking had gone through for the wrong day but he took us to the bar while he soughted it out & 5mins later he arrived with our room key. My wife had an appointment at the UCL Hospital opposite the hotel so for location to that perfect. The hotel could not do enough for my wife they even had chef make her a clear soup which is not on the menu & they also left a note in the room wishing my wife good luck with her appointment at the hospital. Excellent staff Anonymous 13 July 2016
