4.5 star ratingGood staff, very helpful and no complaints whatsoever about them. Very helpful on reception. Our room was very nice and clean and well presented....good value.I noticed that on two occasions the bacon which formed part of the hot breakfast ran out very early and was not replenished by staff.It ran out on one occasion when there was still over an hour left for breakfast service so people coming down a little later missed out. I thought that should not have happened...otherwise the breakfasts were fine.Air conditioning not very good in bedrooms incidentally...could scarcely feel it.No lounge available...but that is obviously the style of the hotel. Bar in hotel hardly used by clients..if the bar prices were a little more competeitive I think that would encourage more usage.11 August 2008

2.0 star ratingexcellent staff, pleasant room, spacious bathroom,accommodated special dietary requirements, lovely attmosphere, good location,only one..air conditioning did not work and on the number of times when we mentioned this we were reminded to keep the window closed. We did not need to be told to do something so obvious as we have had air conditioined rooms before in many other places where we had no problem.02 September 2008
