This cosy, family-run hotel is excellently located in the heart of Prague‘s old town close to the Old Town Square. Many of the major sights like Wenceslas Square, Charles' Bridge or Prague Castle are easily reachable. The airport is 15 km away. The hotel features 60 rooms, 24-hour reception, free WIFI in public areas, ATM on site, restaurant, bar, fitness centre, wellness, laundry service, bicycle rental and on-site parking (reservation needed, charges apply).

4.5 star ratingRoom was great we had 4th floor with view over the river and the church on the square behind was very nice! Room was always clean, beds turned down everyday, new towels each day, brand new lift so feel a lot better that you won't get stuck. Breakfast room was bright warm quite refreshing with seems like traditional decoration. The most important things here are: you are 10min casual walk to Old Town Square, about 15min walk to New Town, about 10min to Charles Bridge, there is an off license on the corner and the shopping centre with a HUGE transport hub right underneath it, literally buses, teams, subway, and an easy link if you wish to the overland rail. Fantastic location for this hotel we are planning to go again. Ok it's hard to pick negatives so il be a bit picky just to be fair on both sides. Duvet was slightly small for a 6'1 male. Pillow isn't fantastic but I had some of the best nights sleep ive had in months in that bed. Now if there is 1 thing I could be picky with..... It is breakfast. It is adaquet. It fills the gap. Needs a bit of improvement, especially on hot food, I don't like cold mushrooms with my toast and sausage and egg. So a few extra hot options would be good, as it's only toast and the local sausage which is Beef for anyone wondering had to check at a local shop. Oh 1 big thing which isn't that big. When you check in there's this form which encourages you to use the safe, we didn't (had no trouble) it's just the form is scare tacticstheu want you to hand in the pick everytime you leave the hotel but really with the bad reviews of the City with crime we took ours everywhere just to be safe, hotels always have a master just in case you'd lose it, and there is no name on the key so you don't need to worry about losing it and your room being ransacked. 3.5 star ratingThe location is great, there's a cheap bar like in? or atleast next to the hotel which servers 0,5L beer for just over an euro (27 ck). Within 10 minutes walking you'll be in the 'real' center where drinks will quickly rise up to approx 3 euro's. So if you're gonna chill here with your mates you can have some good 'pre-drinking' unfortunately I was with my girlfriend so I had to behave ;P The staff is friendly, I think most of the visitors come here with AAA taxi cabs from the airport. This hotel will NOT call AAA Cabs for you when you leave because their manager has some deals with other taxi company. This is no problem since you can just walk outside the street and pick up your AAA Taxi (and hand them over your 47% discount voucher) While some hotels make a problem if you bring 'guests' in your room, I highly doubt they will even know who your entire group is. Since the staff changes quite frequently. So if you're out clubbing and wanna bring someone along big chance it will not be any problem. You can reach all sightseeing things here by foot, the clock, bridge, castle etc. We requested a room on a higher floor which we also got (we got a room on topfloor) thats because we heard you can hear alot of noise from the streets. This wasn't too bad from our room to be honest..you just hear ALOT of police (not during nighttime tho strangely enough) They will guard your luggage in a special locked room the day you leave and have to check out.The included breakfast isn't really worth getting up for, I believe breakfast is served from 7-10am. We went about 9... Breadroaster didn't really work, eggs were cold, bread was dry... your better off just having some extra rest and paying for a decent breakfast in the city somewhere...unless you are really tight in your budget of course :) There is no refrigerator/mini bar..you can call them for some snacks which you can check out in the lobby. Beds aren't thát great but great chances you'll be so tired from all the walking you'll fall asleep quickly anyway The minuses mentioned above here had little value to me...so if you think you can sleep on an 'okay' bed...and afford good breakfast elsewhere and cope without a minibar. Don't let these things hold you back. For me it was just an alright place to stay during the night.Thomas26 October 2013
