2.5 star ratingThe views from the room on 5th floor were 1st class . The Hotel manager was 1st class and very experienced at his job.This was a special trip for us as it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and so had booked a special room as in the Junior suite.We have stayed in hotels all over the world and were very disappoined at the mis-representation of your rooms. The room would have been overstated as a deluxe room.On arrival we were given a very poor reception by a young man.I had emailed ahead and asked if we could have a room overlooking the castle. The hotel was in early opening stages and not at full capacity.He showed us to a average room overlooking the back of the hotel. We then had to go back to reception to ask for him to change the room ,firstly to what we had booked which was a junior suite and to a room overlooking the castle.There was no apology not eye contact very poor customer service and made us feel we were making a nusiance of ourselves. Again not what we would expect from a 5* hotel. On our first morning there was no hot water for our shower. Being told by your receptionist that you had to run the taps more was not an answer again from a 5* hotel.We had had to endure a cold shower that morning. No apology from the staff- yes we had hot water from that point on but an explaination and an apology would only have been in order.04 October 2008
5.0 star ratingThe hotel was exactly as desribed in the infromation provided at the time of booking, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was within easy walking distance of the main attractions, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. If you didn't want to walk into the city the tram stop was only a 5 min walk away. We would book this hotel again.We felt that some of the extras provided by the hotel were very expensive and chose not to take advantage of these offers e.g to watch a film in our room £18, use of the sauna £15 pp. There was some confusion over what half-board included (perhaps this is a new concept in Prague) and our meal on the first night left a lot to be desired, however they got things sorted by the second night and the food was excellent, our only complaint would be that there was only one option for each course so if it was something you didn't like you had to go without! It didn't cause a problem for us as we will eat most things but we could see it could be a problem for some people. 02 November 2008
4.5 star ratingBeautiful hotel in very convenient though expensive location. Staff very friendly and curteous.Expensive drinks in hotel bar - tea worked out at almost £3.00 per cup. No tea/coffee facilities in room although they were available for free from room service. Also, we stayed in standard room and it was very very small, would be worthwhile upgrading if possible.16 December 2008

4.5 star ratingPerfect bed, great lacation, amazing view over Senad gardens and Prague Castle (5th floor up), nice and helpful staff. Little spoils like coffe and tea served in the room at request for free make a great diference :) Condictions and staff make you travel in time and feel like Royalty. In 3days from this Hotel you can walk over all Prague. Very safe area even at night. Breakfast is served until 10:30 but around 10:00 reposition of food is almost none.Hulkinho Portugal04 October 2011

High quality hotels in Berlin, Paris or anywhere usually have a price 10 - 15 € / night, and then the parking is in a garage. Peter23 April 2012
