A tram leaves from directly in front of the hotel providing a quick direct link to the city centre. The hotel's facilities include 9 conference rooms. 5.0 star ratingAn excellent hotel providing everything for the short or long stay visitor to Prague. The helpful staff make you feel at home, right from reception to departure. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is a gastronomic feast of all types of both hot and cold food. The Coppernik resturant provides a wide variety of both Czech and other dishes at a very modest cost. A No.22 tram, stopping outside the hotel provides easy access to the City centre. Change for the automatic tram ticket machine (outside the front door of the hotel) can be obtained at reception. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. 3.5 star ratingStaff were friendly and helpful. Lots of choice for breakfast including cereals, cooked meats, cheeses, danishes etc. Was nice to arrive to a pianist at the grand piano in the lobby area. Bar was nice. Bellboy to help with luggage was a bonus.Double room was actually 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts. Rooms and corridors were dated, in need of some modernising. Was not aware that the facilites were at an extra cost ie swimming pool and sauna.23 September 2008
4.5 star ratingIt had a good feel from the start; it was open and light and welcoming. Also it is sited in a good area : just far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet, but close enough to get to the action quickly and easily, especially with a tram-ticket machine right outside the door. Any requests we made were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Even when the large coach parties were in and it felt a bit intimidating in the breakfast restaurant, the staff opened up other areas so we were all able to enjoy the meal. 05 October 2008
3.5 star ratingThe hotel was reasonably clean, & the staff spoke good English. Would recommend the hotel restaurant, not overly priced & great food as well as wonderfully decorated ceiling.Although the hotel promotes the swimming pool on site it does not really state that it is extra to pay to use the facility, & that is quite a lot extra! It was a disappointment that the room did not have tea/coffee facilities in the room, only a mini bar - which again was expensive!07 February 2009

4.0 star ratingAlthough on the face of it hotel would appear to be on outskirts central Prague is only approx 20-30 minute walk down hill and castle itself a 10-15 minute walk. Location is good and great views over Prague just left and across road from hotel. Breakfast is always good, with a variety of options including soup, which being vegetarian I would have preferred to be vegetarian every day, but alas. Rooms are good and alround a good four star and generally good value for money.None really to reportGary05 May 2009

4.0 star ratingThe room was clean and spacious. No noise on the corridors at night or coming in from outside.Rooms were very warm especially at night. Air conditioning was left on all day while we were out yet when we returned room was still warm. Obviously air conditioning was not working and this was the same in the two rooms occupied by our group.Irish girls 28 August 2009

2.5 star ratingNice reception area. Close to public transport links. Polite reception staff.On two occasions there was no hot water for a shower. A phonecall to reception remedied this making me believe that they have the ability to switch hot water on and of for each room. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together and the mattresses were incredibly hard. There was a smell of damp in the corridor on the fourth floor. In the breakfast room we went in at around 9.15am and about 75% of the tables we unoccupied and not one of them had been cleared so we had to clear a table ourselves. We used the swimming pool which, at 100Kc I thought was overpriced considering how small it was and the fact that the water was so cold we got out after less than ten minutes.Pete31 December 2009
