4.0 star ratingWe had the top floor room which was more or less a self contained appartment. Room was clean and full or character with great views over the city from the from and the observation tower at the back. Great location too near the castle and easy walking distance to Charles Bridge and the old town. Breakfast was basic but ok. For the money I couldn't fault it (approx £30 a night) and would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to use as a convenient base to sleep. Minor faults were that there was no stand up shower (bath with hand held shower attachment) and the tv didn't work, but I wouldn't let that put me off as I don't generally go away to watch tv! You also have to check in/out at the hotel at the top of the hill which wasn't made clear and he guy on reception at our hotel when we arrived was just unhelpful and rude. I have to say though, that aside my overall impression of the hotel was a positive one. PB 31 January 2012
