5.0 star ratingThe hotel is in a quiet street and in a good position as it is less than ten minutes stroll to Old Town Square. As the room is actually a suite, it is nice having space to move about instead of staying in one room as with most hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Nice bright breakfast room.The only 'negative' from our point of view is that the beds are rather hard and the pillows on the thin side.14 September 2008
4.0 star ratingThe room which is actually a suite was great, twin beds pushed together in the bedroom and a pull out bed in the sofa. There is a cooking area within the room with a sink, fridge microwave and 2 ring hob. the style and design of the hotel is beautiful. The location of the hotel is great is just a couple of minutes walk from the metro station and only 5 minutes walk from the astronomical clock also very close to a large modern shopping centre. The staff were helpful although their English was limited. some of the problems we encountered were not the fault of the hotel. Should you wish to cook this would prove difficult, no pots or pans or utensils are provided and a kettle would have been useful. 2 plates, cups, knives and forks in a room that can accomodate 4. Although 2 spare duvets and 1 pillow were provided there wasnt any sheets or covers for them. There is building work in the adjacent building and this commenced very loudly at 7am and was very disturbing, this may have been less disturbing should be have been in the front of the building but our room was in the rear, the rooms to the rear are around a covered courtyard and sound echoes around this. We had opposite very loud neighbours which continued past 4 am and meant sleep was impossible, then we were awoken by the builders! Trying to contact the hotel by phone before hand was impossible as the dont seem to answer, the did eventually respond by email though and were polite and helpful. hollys2217 July 2011
3.0 star ratingGood location, friendly helpful staff, well presented property, good value.We were expecting modest cooking facilities in the room. It turned out to be a microwave in a wardrobe and no pots, crockery or cutlery. It wasn't a major inconvenience and I couldn't remember exactly what the room ought to have had, so I didn't follow up with the staff.MS04 August 2011
