This hotel is located in a quiet area of Prague, just 3 tram stops from Wenceslas Square and the main boulevards with its many shops, restaurants and open-air markets. The nearest tram stop is just 350 metres away and an 8-minute walk will take its guests to the Křižíkova Underground Station. Housed in a 19th century building the venue offers the charming home-like atmosphere so typical for the city. All of its rooms and apartments are fitted with wooden furniture and cosy beds, just waiting for a good night sleep followed by a lazy morning with a breakfast in bed. They also offer work desks and complimentary WiFi, so the business travellers can even set-up a home office and remain on top of their workload even when on the road.

4.5 star ratingReception staff were excellent - each one of them were pleasant, friendly and did their very best in dealing with any situation. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The bed linen and towels were pristine. Free internet use (although extremely slow!).There was a very peculiar, unpleasant smell outside rooms 12 and 13 !! We got the impression that the hotel was in the throes of being renovated in certain areas. To be truthful the name Grand isn't really appropriate BUT we got exactly what we expected at the price we paid.17 December 2008
