3.0 star ratingStaff were excellent,breakfast room and food was very goodWe had a deluxe room, what I would like to know is what was deluxe about it and what would a standard room be like? Nothing was clean, furniture and window sills were dusty and dead flies everywhere, the floors were dirty,the beds were so uncomfortable that we had to sleep on the duvets as well as the towels from the bathroom. 5.0 star ratingI chose this hotel as the price was excellent, with breakfast included, and also because it is an independent hotel. The room was huge, more like a studio apartment, with a mini corridor that led to the bathroom. There was so much storage space, with two massive wardrobes and - here's a bonus - plenty of coathangers provided. The staff were very courteous and friendly, spoke good English, and were able to give good advice on local travel and places of interest. Also, transport tickets (which cannot be bought ON the trains, trams and buses, but only from machines) were sold at reception. In the room, there is also a FREE internet connection, but if you don't have a laptop, there is free internet access available at reception. For a hotel that is clean, safe and comfortable, I would not hesitate to recommend it for other travellers. I looked at several on the internet before I booked and had a hunch about this one - I struck gold.16 March 2009

3.5 star ratingThe location is wonderful. The neighborhood itself is not beautiful and a bit industrial. But the hotel is about 100 meters from a metro stop that goes to all parts of the city easily and quickly. The rooms are very large and the batrhoom was modern and well equipped. The price was very affordable and the breakfast buffet was large and well supplied (go early in the morning to avoid the crowds). It may be a Czech cultural thing, but the staff from the front desk to those working in the breakfast room were not very friendly. They were never rude, just a bit cold. They only provided the absolute necessary responses to questions, never anything additional that might help make your stay more comfortable. And never a smile or a "good morning". USA John14 May 2009
4.0 star ratingRoom was excellent, liked the size, and art nouveau furniture. Wallet stolen (pickpocket) last full day in Prague, without the help of reception staff a difficult situation would have been far more difficult to resolve. Incredibly supportive and professional. 19 June 2009
