This peaceful, historical hotel is ideally situated close to the city centre just 15 minutes' walk from Prague's famous Wenceslas Square and about 5 minutes from Pavlova metro station. Ruzyne airport is some 18 km from the hotel and can be reached on public transport in approximately 25 minutes. Built in 1894, this hotel comprises a total of 106 rooms spread over 6 floors of which 67 are double rooms, 21 are triple rooms and 1 is a single room. The hotel features a modern foyer with a 24-hour reception desk with a safe, a currency exchange facility and medical assistance. There is a car park for those arriving at the hotel by car. The welcoming rooms come with a bathroom with a shower, an electronic room access system and a hire safe.

3.5 star ratingclean room. good price.good breakfast.helpful staff.we asked for the room to be cleaned everyday, but we found it strange that the drinking glasses in the room were never washed. aslo as a three star hotel we expected a better equiped bar with more selection of drinks.11 October 2008

The breakfast was plentiful with many hot and cold options Staff were very helpful and politeUnfortunately despite receiving a 'non smoking' room, the room smelt so strongly that we had to have the windows open and the bathroom fan on at all times. We did check with reception and apparently all rooms have an ash tray regardless of whether they are smoking or non smoking. Other negatives - Lack of air conditioning or even a fan - Extremely noisey guests returning late at night JW22 July 2009

3.5 star ratingThe hotel was warm, which is good in winter in Prague. There was a lot of information leaflets around the reception area with things to do. The value of the room was very good. The breakfast coffee was good too.The breakfast is a buffet style and food ran out reasonably quickly and took a while to be restocked. One morning I found a sausage which was still raw in the centre. The staff on reception seemed to not care and not once did I see a smile.steevie_b8717 December 2010
