4.5 star ratingWonderful, friendly, helpful and efficient staff who took the time to make sure we were enjoying our holiday. Highly professional at all times and a pleasure to deal with. Hotel facilities were excellent - we found everything we needed and more (internet facilities, shop, swimming pool with bar/cafe) at our disposal.This is a basic hotel. It is clean with very friendly staff and has a basic food menu (as per the rest of the country should you not venture from the state run hotels). This should not be classed as a negative review, merely a warning to future holiday makers not to expect "the Ritz" but to enjoy what is essentially a 3 star hotel in a country very new to the tourist trade. We had a superb holiday and would not hesitate to use the Deauville on a return visit.Aberdeen201 May 2011
3.5 star ratingHas nice pool and staff do try to help when your not happy with your room with no sea view. They may not be able to help you at the weekend if you have not asked before you arrive... No hot water in our rooms as with many places we stayed. Lot of noise outside people sorting recycling cans bottles and music from seafront until 5am. Pollution very high with the 1950s cars passing by. Hotel is on seafront if you turn right along seafront restuarant charges 10% service charge on bill without telling you !! If you turn left along seafront from the hotel first restuarant high price for food but not very good. Walk half mile further on a bar with chairs out the front complete rip off with drinks costing twice as much than anywhere in Havana. Always ask for prices first !!!! weevy06 February 2012

1.5 star ratingDas Hotelpersonal war sehr bemüht, vor allem das Reinigungspersonal.Das Frühstück eine einzige Katastrophe. Das bescheidene Angebot sei akzeptiert, jedoch nicht das Verhalten des Personals, viele Mitarbeiter, wenig professionelle bzw. fachliche Leistung. Man musste ständig daran erinnern, dass die gebotenen Waren und das Geschirr nachgereicht werden müssen. Länger als 1 1/2 Wochen die selben schmutzigen Tischdecken, trotz Aufforderung und Erinnerung kein Wechsel der Tischtücher (völlig bekleckert ...). Preis / Leistung stimmt nicht überein! Die 3 Sterne hat das Hotel nicht verdient (<= 2 Sterne maximal).eRBe06 March 2012

2.5 star ratingGute Location direkt am Malecon, schoene grosse Zimmer, das Essen war auch in Ordnung. Ich wuerde das Hotel wiederbuchen.Als alleinreisende Frau fand ich die vielen Prostituieren etwas unangenehm, die sind auffaellig haufig in der Lobby und die aelteren Herren "gekuemmert" haben. Auch war ein Aufenthalt in dergeschlossenen Lobby und Bar nicht so schoen, weil es doch stark verraucht war. Es waere nett gewesen, wenigstens einen kleinen Outdoor Bereich fuer die Nichtraucher zur Verfuegung zu haben, weil auch schoen direkt am Malecon gelegen. Die vielen Kakerlaken haben mich weniger gestoert, ich bin das Reisen in den Tropen gewoehnt, aber eventuell koennte man das Hotel doch einmal kurz durchspruehen, um diese etwas zu minimieren. 1.0 star ratingI booked 2 nights instead of 3 for my son gregory sharkey from 8th april to 10 th april and paid from the UK . He wanted to stay for the third and you charged him £63 for one night. I think that that was outrageous when y our nightly rate is only £21. I would not recommend your hotel to anyone for that . I think you took advantage of him. It is his first visit to Cuba and he is on a restricted budget. My wife and I were planning to visit Cuba but if that is the practice I don't think we will. My son is enjoying the rest of his holiday but the experience has spoiled it somewhat.12 April 2012

4.0 star ratingpleasant ,freindly and good and HONEST information (its a war of financial wits once you step outside ), excellent value for travellers .I have booked there 4 times .Clean and Good location Maintenance of equipment is of CUBAN but, very poor for global travellers . Taps twist in basin , some dont work. wooden board on windows . things just dont get fixed properly . I know there is not much money arround (worldwide ).But where are the skills and pride that built such great cities decades ago, that allows the buildings to degrade so much .. I was surprised that Melia Hotel SAntiago de cuba was going the same from two years ago with Toilet taps and door locks in lobby broken .freddy03 August 2013

3.5 star ratingThe Deauville is really well located on the Malceon, close enough to the sights but far enough away that you can get away to relax. Roof top pool and bar = great after a long sweaty day in Havana! This hotel was really well priced and one of seemingly few mid price options. Havana has lots of expensive fancy hotels and some questionable looking hostels, so this was a great in the middle option. Would definitely stay here again. Not fancy, but that wasn't what we were expecting for this price! 20 November 2013

4.0 star ratingРасположение отличное. Номер на троих №1303 на тринадцатом этаже- отличный вид частично на Малекон и старую Гавану. Дискотеку слышно не было. Лифт работал. Горячая вода (+55 градусов) была. Бассейном на шестом этаже воспользоваться не успели, так как работает с 10-00. Завтрак неплохой- сыры, мясное, выпечка, чай, кофе, фрукты.
