Hotel Information

The excellent location of the hotel literally in the heart of Habana Vieja, the hotel is somehow exempt of from the noisy roads and hectic traffic, although an item might be considered by some as a drawback, is precisely what many travelers seek. It is situated opposite a small park shaded by trees, narrow cobbled lanes for the exclusive use of pedestrians. The building is pleasantly situated in a cool and relaxing. Inside the building the sunny spaces decorated in earthy tones, where restoration work has left exposed fragments of mosaics from the colonial era and other artifacts of the same period perfectly preserved, all of which enhances the authenticity and modest grace prevail place.

3.5 star ratingThese guys made incredible job by turning the villa into hotel, every detail has been worked on. Very clean and very comfortable. The beds are little bit hard.Staff is very impolite, even rude. The cleaning lady openly asked for the tip (she called it "present for me"), and insisted on it several times, even forcing herself into the room while we were there in order to receive it. The man on the entrance is also trying to get the tip, or to organise you the taxi 100% over the price in the street, and when we declined, he charged us extra money for keeping our luggage in the hotel room until our flight.Dani28 October 2013

2.5 star ratingThere was a peacock in the hotel which was pretty cool. Can't say i've seen that before. Definitely had a very old Cuban feel to the place. Restaurant was quite good and i enjoyed breakfast. The guy at the front although a bit rough was quite helpful in organising a bus to Varedero for us.Very old and wouldn't say it's the cleanest. Actually felt quite creepy. The soap was not wrapped and looked used. The towels were old. The beds were so so old and terrible. Could feel every spring. Safe deposit box door got stuck.
