2.0 star ratingThe bathroom light didn't work and nobody could fix it. The room was extremely noisy not caused by other guests but some sort of machine or boiler at the Marriot. The food in the bar was disgusting. The toilet flush didn't work. All in all I would have expected more from the Marriot 19 February 2013
5.0 star ratingWent on valentines day and we had a great time, breakfast was served in bed, she shower was amazing, king size beds, valet parking they really made us feel like we didn't have to so anything, very relaxed and friendly staff. We will return at some point. Can't fault.Anonymous 17 February 2014
4.5 star ratingVery spacious room - king sized bed very comfortable sleep. High quality linen and furnishings good sized bathroom and good showerBreakfast food ran out on the Sunday morning and had to wait for most of the cooked breakfast items to be replenished. Also on another morning had to request white bread. Was also surprised had to pay extra if wanting porridge. We stayed 3 nights but toiletries were not replenishedAnonymous 23 April 2014
5.0 star ratingExcellent- would stay here again. Very friendly staff. Varied and plentiful breakfast buffet. Comfy beds and rooms with lots of character. Ideal for visiting Coronation St tour (as we did) or the Science and Industry museum. Bit of a hidden gem. Nothing.Anonymous 22 May 2014
3.0 star ratingRooms were very nicely presented. And overall nice hotel. When booking it stated that parking was included but when i arrived at the hotel i was charged £16. It also said there was health facilities within the hotel including a swimming pool. This was actually a 10 minute walk up the road. Overall dissapointed. Anonymous 10 May 2014
5.0 star ratingWe stayed for one night and I wasn't disappointed with this hotel. The room was a twin with 2 double beds which were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very spacious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the noisy guests in the room next door who were very loud when they returned to their room and left their TV on all night which was a bit distracting but no fault of the hotel just inconsiderate travellers. 5.0 star ratingI booked 2 double rooms with breakfast, and from parking the car to checking out I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. When I stay in Manchester again I will book this hotel. Thanks Faddie.Sharon 18 June 2014
5.0 star ratingWe stayed here for one night when we came to Manchester for the Corrie tour. We booked this because of the close proximity to the venue then I looked on Trip Advisor and was apprehensive after I read some of the comments. I regularly complain about bad service. We had none here. The reception staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Our room was large with 2 double beds. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold foods. Due to the Fever Pitch event taking place opposite the hotel our room was noisey but Fady was very helpful in finding us a suite at the back of the hotel which provided the quiet room we were looking for.Lulu12 July 2014
3.5 star ratingWell furnished room, clean and good staffBuilding is conversion of old warehouse with exposed beams on ceilings. This means poor sound insulation from rooms above. Unable to sleep as a result. Hotel refunded some cash as a result. If you are going book top floor!Anonymous 24 June 2014
5.0 star ratingLovely hotel, excellent location for Manchester City Centre but in a quiet area. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfortable beds. All the staff without exception are friendly and helpful - just can't fault anything about the hotel.Anonymous 29 July 2014
4.0 star ratingVery nice hotel. Lovely bed. Room a little small but ok. Comfortable bed. Good air con which was a relief as it was really hot outside. Asked for a quiet room and got just that. Nice quiet location but only a short walk to Deansgate. On site parking. Handy although £16 a day. Decent breakfast.Nothing really,Yugs26 July 2014

4.5 star ratingAbsolutely love this hotel, second time we've stayed. Its just perfect for us, lovely rooms, great staff, very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend without a doubt, my favourite in Manchester. Breakfast was great, but our other food experience wasn't good, maybe it was the time of day.duck7227 August 2014
5.0 star ratingFabulous hotel, our favourite in Manchester to stay at, staff are the nicest, professional & cheery people you could meet, rooms are lovely, beds so comfortable & a short walk into the city centre, Perfecttess21 August 2014
4.5 star ratingAttractive hotel in a reasonable location for Manchester Central Conference Central, which is why I stayed there. It's about 10 minutes walk away. It has a nice lobby and my room looked out over the river, which was nice too. The staff were very helpful, including printing some documents out for me. Breakfast was good, again looking out over the river. It's not cheap, but then it's a good hotel, you wouldn't expect it to be. The room was fairly bland, which was fine for me, but may disappoint if you are looking for a bit of character.George15 October 2014
5.0 star ratingOn arrival we were upgraded to a duplex suite which was an unexpected surprise. The room was fabulous. Breakfast was included in our room rate and as on previous occasions there was a wide variety to suit all tastes. Hotel excellently located and provided easy access to castlefield Only issue was that the people in the neighbouring room had a blazing row which started at about 0200. Screaming, shouting and foul language, followed by sounds of items being throw around. Appreciate this was not hotels fault however it took two calls to reception an hour apart before the situation was resolved. Upgrade was totally spoilt by inconsiderate guests and a very ineffective response from the hotel which meant we had a sleepless night. On checking out it was evident staff aware of the issue but we were just advised to put our comments on the on line survey we would be sent. Anonymous 02 November 2014
