4.5 star ratingWas allocated a quiet room, room and breakfast were fine for the price paid. Staff good, no complaints. Ideal location with some parking facilities.Empty space in room could perhaps have small settee, felt a but strange with such empty space in the corner. Room 1505 February 2013
4.0 star ratingWas cheap and good location No basic hotel complementary items, such as shower gel, toothpaste etc. T08 February 2013
4.0 star ratingThe room was spacious. Good breakfast. Close to town centre. I would stay again.Noise from what sounded like a boiler, on and off during the night. Noisy group of people coming in late on from a night out in the early hours on a Friday - doors banging etc (possible only a weekend thing). Signs to try and not make too much noise late at night as people are sleeping, would be a good idea along the corriders or on the doors.17 March 2013
3.5 star ratingSpacious and clean rooms, all obvious amenities supplied, and breakfast included.Extras not great - only one spare pillow, and one set of towels when two people specified to stay. The bath was too narrow and curved, and had no grip in the bottom - whilst railings had been put in place to counter balance this, it is NOT GOOD ENOUGH BY FAR. The sticker absolves you of any blame, apparently, but whilst holding on to 2 railings, I still slipped stepping into the bath, and smacked my face on the tiled wall, and my knee on the floor which now sports a dark purple hue and aches.Cat19 April 2013

We had a family room which was a good size, beds really comfortable & bath room spotless. Breakfast was help yourself and everything was stocked up, never ran out of items. Had small carpark under hotel but managed to get parked arriving at 1 price was £7.50 for 24 hours. Check in wasn't till 3 so had to pay another £10 Anonymous 27 May 2014
3.0 star ratingExcellent location very friendly staffLittle parking. Lack of available cutlery and glasses at breakfast poor choice of veggie food at breakfast, orange juice tasted like diluted squash .(the guy working in the dining room was rushed off his feet hence not enough cutlery glasses etc, needed more staff this wasn't his fault) room given initially stank of fangs we got given an alternative room which was ok.. Ok value but wouldn't stay againAnonymous 25 November 2014
4.5 star ratingStaff very helpfull and welcoming when we arrived after a long tiring drive from London. Our room on ground floor overlooking the river very quiet, we had a good night, the central location and safe parking mean we'll be endeavouring to book a stay here again when we return our Daughter to Manchester University next September, We've stayed in a few Travel Lodges over the years and was pleasently surprised, the room interior was well maintained and clean, even the pillows had some 'fresh bounce' in them.Paul20 June 2015
