4.0 star ratingLovely clean room, nice and quiet and a great priceNo hot water in the shower/bath. Reception were advised 3 times but kept saying to "give it 10 minutes". I had to go to a function without being able to have a shower, and had a cold shower before going to work the next morning - I was late because of waiting 30 minutes in the hope that I might get a hot shower. I wondered what the catch was. Cheap hotel if you dont want a shower!22 December 2008
4.0 star ratingGreat central location, comfy beds, clean, great breakfast buffetHot water was only available in the morning - only lukewarm in the evenings... not good for a soak in the bath! Coffee is brought to the table at breakfast - although you will have to catch the staff's attention if you want a top-up.Meeting_organiser19 March 2009

3.5 star ratingI turned the air-con to the lowest temp and went to bed. However I was woken during the night as I was too hot. When I tested the extract fan of the air-con I could feel warm air. As a consequence I had to turn off the air-con and open the window (I was on the 6th floor). At 8am on a Sunday morning I was again woken by the demolition works from a neighbouring building. I had not been advised by the hotel thats these works were taking place. Had the air-con been working properly I would not have had to open the window. All in all I had a bad nights sleep06 February 2013
5.0 star ratingVery clean, comfortable hotel where we always have a good night's sleep & lovely breakfast. Attractive decor throughout & quality equipment, towels & bedding. Price compares favourably with other similar hotels in the area. clarksville25 April 2017

4.5 star ratingVery friendly staff who accommodated us well. We wanted a twin room and ours was a double. They didn't have any more twins when I called up but when we arrived they had kindly put a single bed in the room which was perfect. I booked through a third party and I really thought the price we paid was excellent. Great location too for central Birmingham. None really. Basic hotel but overall was clean and comfy. mmhnngn11 December 2016
