5.0 star ratingReally quirky rooms, used space wisely, perfect for a couple or if your staying on your own. Quite surprised at free movies and free water, lovely! I would recommend to all my friends for sure. Really friendly staff and lovely entrance first impressions were great! The only one thing was I felt no privacy in the toilet really. It's a lovely shower area but regarding use of toilet, it would've been more comfortable if it was blocked off more. But other than that all was good. 22 December 2009

4.0 star ratingVery quirky. Some good features, like the control panal for the room where you can adjust all the light levels and room temperature., comfy bed and big TV. Very very very small, only stay with another person if you are extremely comfortable with them as you are on top of each other. Also, when going to the toilet you can be seen, as there is only a frosted glass door seperating you from the bed with is only a few feet away. No windows in any of the rooms so can get quite stuffy and with no lights on it is pitch black, which is weird getting up in the morning as it still feels late at night. 31 May 2010
3.0 star ratingThe room was clean and had a functioning high speed internet. Location is great (if anyone in his right mind can call any location in central Birmingham great, that is!). The room was a tiny capsule, smaller than a regular garden shed. No windows, eerie feeling. As I'm not claustrophobic I wasn't to put off by that. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone traveling for business for one simple reason: there's no mobile phone reception in the rooms as they are windowless and located deep inside the building! There are no landline phones either, so you are effectively out of reach in your room. C'mon, it's 2010, how can that be? SwindonFinn31 August 2010
4.5 star ratingthere must have been a problem with the heating because the whole floor was freezing and our room wouldnt heat up05 October 2010
4.0 star ratingQuick check-in, quality of room was nice very modern, big tv and free movies.Wet room, couldn't stand in the bathroom after shower therefore not much room for more than one person. No floor space.16 November 2010
3.5 star ratingThe rooms were too small I was quite lucky as i had one to myself but the others I was with were sharing. The rooms were really clean and nice but they are really small and I wouldn't stop in one again or recommend them to anyone. ALso the heating didn't work properly and the rooms were all freezing. 30 December 2010
3.5 star ratingvery friendly check in staff and good central locationRooms far too small and claustrophobic not a pleasant experience unless you are a hamster.d13 December 2010
1.0 star ratingnonewe didnt even stay!!the room was the smallest room iv ever seen and without a window or any natural light or air what so ever!!very poorly advertised,we walked straight out and booked into a proper hotel with a proper room and a window!! i would not recomend this place to anyone exept maybe students who are off out to get very drunk and dont care where they sleep!!01 March 2011
4.5 star ratingLove the wet room and price!20 January 2011
3.0 star ratingStaff very helpful, breakfast good.Did not like a hotel room without a window and also rooms smaller than any other hotel room I have ever stayed in. The price did not reflect the smallness of the room.11 April 2011
2.0 star ratingthe bed was comfortable and a good size tv.the rooms are too small, felt very claustrophobic especially without a window, was very unhappy with this. 13 April 2011
3.5 star ratingtThe bed was comfortable and clean. It was quite close to the station. It would have been better if there were at least some drawers to put your clothes in.25 April 2011
5.0 star ratingLoved the hotel and the reception staff were very friendly and helpfulSteve.c6713 June 2011
4.0 star ratingThe room was clean and comfortable, certain members of staff are helpful and friendly. The room tends to be a bit claustrophobic if you're not used to the 'pod' style hotel experience. No window in the room is a strange experience waking up as you have no idea what time of day it is. The girl who checked us in wasn't very friendly, spoke at the speed of light, and didn't seem too interested.Nick04 October 2011
3.5 star ratingHotel is consistently cleanroom not spacious, no parking spaces and no internet facilities in the rooms17 September 2011
3.0 star ratingCentrally located, pleasant and helpful staff. I did not realise this was almost a "pod" hotel. Narrow corridor and windowless tiny rooms not recommended for claustrophobics. Incredibly noisy on a Saturday to Sunday night thanks to partygoers returning from nearby Broad Street. We were woken up at hourly intervals between 2 and 5 am. My mother dicovered make-up stains on the "clean" towels. Despite the helpful and friendly staff I would not recommend this hotel for a weekend family stay mainly because of the noise. powerpuff27 September 2011
4.5 star ratingessential, clean, central and with very professional and friendly staffthe breakfast 'bar' attached to the hotel was a bit of disappointment. I was expecting the same, smart and essential service and food. The service was clumsy and the selection of food available very liited. What about some good crusty bread loaves instead of the five anaemicslices of white bread on display? some fresh fruit? yoghurt? ect....mala30 October 2011
3.0 star ratingvery clean room with basic facilities. decor of the hotel itself nice. good location too small for two people. very cramped. shelf falls off everytime you shut the bathroom door. concept is good but the hotel is only made for individuals, my partner hurt his elbow several times when changing his clothes, no space for luggage etc. staff not very helpful on arrival, initially didnt tell us we had to go up stairs to our room. 28 October 2011
1.5 star ratingthis hotel looks good from the approach but thats where it ends, The information available from hotel is misleading not pointing out the fact it is a micro hotel (japnease concept) and the images are far to small of room and other areas for you to find that out. they need to be honest on site and reveal certain aspects of hotel like the connecting dinning area is seperate francise etc, having a big screen tv on wide that only shows u old fashioned 4:3 scale, un tuned hanging over bed is not cool. If I wanted to pay £57 for a shoe box, I would have brought a pair :(Bebopnash25 October 2011
5.0 star ratingGreat central location. Room clean. Staff very helpful and approachableVery noisy overnight in adjoining rooms! especially 4.30am Would have preferred option of quieter location within the hotel. Unable to get TV to work21 November 2011
4.0 star ratingHotel staff very polite and helpful at all times. Very nice and clean rooms. Ideal for single use business stay.Bit too small, ideal if just going home after one night stay but hard to get ready with partner in such small space. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. A little noisy. Wouldn't recommend staying more than one night unless on own.Davey22 November 2011
4.0 star ratingVery very small if more than one of you. Also frosted glass is not suitable for the toilet door.AAA11 November 2011
3.0 star ratingEverything was clean and comfortable.I had seen that you advertised water in the rooms but there was no bottle of water upon arrival. Had you advertised this properly, I would have taken my own but I didn't because of your confirmation one would be there. I was incredibly disappointed with this and put to significant inconvenience. Further, the television wasn't tuned in properly, so only obscure channels worked. The remote control did not work as it should. The remote control had a TV guide button which didn't work. It effectively meant the television was useless. I was in room 120. This is completely unacceptable when you advertise the TV as the main feature of the room. I would be grateful for a full refund on the room as I don't feel it matched what was advertised and definitely didn't add up to what I paid for it.Mel, Leicester29 November 2011
5.0 star ratingAn excellent value hotel. Very compact but that was what we expected and as we had a busy weekend we just needed somewhere comfortable and quiet to sleep. The hotel fitted the bill perfectly and the location was excellent.15 November 2011
4.5 star ratingThe hotel was lovely, very clean and the layout of the room was great. I liked how you control everything on the same remote/box and the shower was lovely. The room is fairly cosy as in small, would of been nice if there was some sort of storage. The walls are also paper thin, we could hear a full conversation. Overall i really enjoyed my stay with Hotel nite nite and would definaty stay again.AJ15 November 2011
5.0 star ratingVery friendly. warm welcoming reception upon arrival. bar staff very helpfull. Lovely breakfast. clean rooms and bed was very comfortable. Space in room slightly tight. however no complaints due to comfort of bed and facilities of hotel. However would still give this hotel 10/10 would stay again when in Birmingham. thank you.compz30 October 2012
3.0 star ratingI was waiting an hour in reception to check in as they said they could not find 2 of my reservations. Once i finally got the rooms we were told after 15 min to leave the rooms as they were reserved for someone else. We had to pick up all belongings and move rooms. The key card was almost impossible to use and the room was very cramped. I had an option of twin or double when i booked the hotel however on arrival was told twin was not possible in any room this caused great inconvieniance. Jayden20 August 2013

Clean and cheap hotel. Good location off Broad Street. Simple breakfast available too. Helpful and nice staffRooms are incredibly small - i didnt mind because i was forewarned. But for cheap rates, room is fine in my opinion.Barry10 December 2013
