Situated in central St Helier, the Monterey Hotel is a family run hotel within walking distance of the town centre. Bright and airy bedrooms have free Wi-Fi, a Freeview flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms also include a private bathroom. Gordini's Restaurant serves a variety of dishes including full English buffet breakfast in the morning and a freshly prepared menu each evening. The comfortable open plan bar area offers a relaxed all-day menu. There are two swimming pools including an indoor pool with a steam room, spa bath and a mini gym. The outdoor pool opens seasonally in finer weather. The hotel is directly on the island's bus route with regular buses operating from the front door to the very centre of the town. Free parking is available to overnight guests.

Clean If I had to write something it would be lack of air conditioning or ventilation in the room in the warmer weather but it wouldn't put me off returning!04 September 2013
