Hotel Information

The Merton Hotel is one of the largest hotels in Jersey and popular with leisure and corporate guests alike. There are many different facilities, the hotel and its grounds are very spacious and it is located in a quiet area just 5-10 minutes' walk from the heart of the city. The Aquadome has a gym, an indoor subtropical pool with an 80m water slide, spa pools, sauna and steam room as well as an outdoor pool and garden area for those long hot summers! The Flowrider surf machine offers wannabe surfers and boarders the chance to practice their skills under the eye of qualified instructors. All 283 bedrooms are modern and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. Family rooms for up to four people are also available. The hotel offers a choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel usually opens from before Easter to mid December. Highly recommended for families of all ages and groups. Complimentary car parking for hotel guests.

4.5 star ratingVery clean and pleasant with a well equipped room and pleasant public areas,the hotel did not have many children in on our visit but I would imagine it would be a popular family hotel in the main holiday periodOn arrival there was a queue of about 15 people waiting to check in and the queue was right across the main door,there was only 1 person behind the desk although 2 porters were in the lobby the did nothing to direct or guide anyone in the queue,but after that everything was good17 May 2009
4.5 star ratingThe hotel is a great place to stay on Jersey. I enjoyed the fact that there was Space to be alone, as well as communal areas to chat. Being Half Board really made this stay value for money. The pool had a great atmosphere and was a great place to unwind.The only point would be the pool was across the road.Molekilby14 May 2013
5.0 star ratingHotel is in a quiet location but only 5 mins away from the town centre and about 15 mins from the seafront. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information. The bedroom and facilities were great, we used the swimming pool and gym each day. There was plenty of selection for breakfast and although we did not have evening meal in the hotel we were told that it was excellent. The hotel provides entertainment. A lot of older people and families were staying at the hotel while we were there. It was difficult to find fault with the hotel and I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends. The only fault I could find was the stairways needed decorating. This did not effect our stay.23 May 2013
4.5 star ratingStaff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, beds comfortable. We were in all three restaurants and could not fault them, wide choice in the buffet restaurant to suit everyone for breakfast and dinner, the theme nights were also good. Shops were only a ten minute walk away. Would definitely go back as our experience was good.The piano player every night, not suitable for everyone, we were fed up listening to the same music, thats our opinion and obviously suits older people.Caz13 October 2013
