4.0 star ratingThe pool is a lovely temperature and a very relaxing environment. Staff are friendly and the hotel is well positioned for the SECC and shopping. Not a negative comment just an idea - It would be fantastic customer service, if housekeeping could call customers as soon as they find something that the customer has left behind, as the customer may well still be in the city at that point in time. happy customer20 March 2013
2.5 star ratingThe friendly and efficient staffcleanliness, although overall the bedroom was clean, the bathroom did have a small amount of mould around the bath, also some marks on the decor in the bedroom. I enjoy a early morning swim and unfortunately this was not an option as the pool did not open until 8am.22 May 2013

4.5 star ratingWe have stayed at the Menzies Glasgow on a few occasions and have found it a good hotel. It is within walking distance to the SECC and Hydro. The city centre is only 5 minutes away. The hotel has secure car parking just over the road at a current cost of £4.00 a dayA couple of gripes this time around although the hotel was quite quiet we where offered a room next to the lift which turned out to be a disabled access room. We then upgraded to an apartment for another £20 per night and this was much better. The breakfast is buffet style and adequate but having been going to the Menzies over the last few years there is a noticeable reduction in quality. All in all I still have to say the Menzies represents good value for money.BrianW10 October 2013
4.5 star ratingReception staff very helpful. Room was of a very good standard. Buffet breakfast was excellent plenty of choice.Anonymous 12 May 2014
4.5 star ratingStaff were excellent. Polite, helpful and very welcoming. Good location - parking is secure and cheap. 10 minutes walk ( level) and you're in the heart of the city.I like real ale. If they had some behind the bar, that would be great.GH18 September 2014
5.0 star ratingMy husband and I recently visited the Menzies Hotel (now Hallmark Hotel) in Glasgow (it was in the beginning of September). The reason for the visit - my husband's milestone birthday. I can only say good, if not excellent words for our stay in the hotel. From before our arrival (a week before that) when I had a call with a hotel representative about some additional surprises for my husband, to our arrival on the date, to the amazing efforts the staff put into decorating the room for the birthday, to the hotel facilities (the health club, the massage room, the sauna) to the restaurant food - all was just spot on! Even though our stay was a short one (just 2 night) we had enough examples of excellent and high quality hotel service. I also bet this is not be our last visit in Hallmark hotel Glasgow.Anonymous 27 September 2015
4.5 star ratingStaff were very pleasant. Had evening meal which was really enjoyable.Bathroom a wee bit past it. Panel falling off under sink. Only 1 sachet of coffee per person. A bit mean!Anonymous 23 November 2015
