4.5 star ratingHad a 4 bed and 2 bed for a group of 6. The 4 bed had 2 sets of 2 bunks and had en suite toilet and shower as well as ample storage space including padlocks. The room was quite spacious and the location was excellent for going to a gig at the O2 and is also within walking distance of the City Centre. Lots of fast food places nearby and right next to a Lidl. We stayed one night and the hostel did exactly what we were looking for at a great price of under £12 each. If staying with friends for a night out or a couple of nights and you want value accommodation then I would definitely recommend. Facilities were clean and better than what I've seen in some competitors e.g. Travelodge. I'll definitely use them again, excellent if booking for a group of friends. If you're looking for a City Break or travelling with the hotel being a big factor then this isn't the place for you. It serves as value accommodation when you want to have a bed for the night.Anonymous 24 March 2014

3.0 star ratingCheap rates of booking in advance and central location. The staff mixed up my order. On my third day they packed my belongings thinking that I should be checked out. That same evening around 11 pm 2 guys with a valid key opened my door. Luckily I was unharmed. Surprises was indeed unspeakable! The staff promised me 2 complimentary full breakfasts which I can't enjoy for the second one because I have an early flight. The morning staff promised to let the night staff know about my request but they never communicated to each other. ET706 June 2015
3.0 star rating1/ Value ratio was very good. I got a private room with toilet facilities under £25 a night (reserving very-well in advance). 2/ The breakfast area was very cosy. 3/ Location: very close to the main station and city centre.1/ Lfits: one day none was working, two days one was not working and the other was only just about. 2/ Staff: they treated me like a little criminal rather like a customer, despite I was almost absent, stay there only to sleep, minded my own bussiness and abided strictly the hostel rules. 3/ Room was only relatively clean: the sink plug was a horror to look at and the carpet stunk as big animals have been confined there for months, no matter that the windows were always open. 4/ Room was a bit cold, despite the exterior temperature was not too low.Anonymous 12 June 2015
3.0 star ratingBasic needs like water boiler, ceramic cup and hanger for clothing are not available. Anonymous 22 July 2015
3.0 star ratingWhat can I say - the bed was clean but the room was very tired and seriously in need of a refurbishment. Friends who paid extra for the refurbished rooms though say theirs were identical to mine. One plug socket, no basic features like a kettle or mug and the only major positive were the excellent and friendly staff. The hotel is situated in an extremely noisy neighbourhood and in addition I was woken twice in one night by the fire alarm going off for two short blasts at 4am and no apology or explanation the following day. Then a second time just an hour or so later by an extremely noisy bin lorry emptying the hotel rubbish. And I was on the 6th floor so pity those lower down.stubbyd23 September 2015
