1.5 star ratingRoom was very small and not suitable for family as booked, no shower gel or shampoo in the dispensers, toilet did not flush, not enough towel, air con was very noisy. Worst hotel experience in a very long time. Staff were polite if not very helpful.Robert, Isle of Skye16 February 2009

4.5 star ratingNice staff. Rooms clean and tidy. position of hotel excellent. We go every year to this hotel and three years ago we got a great breakfast. Weve seen an awful drop in the breakfast. The fry was cold and greasy and there was a big hair in the yougurt to compliment the fruit. Also it all used to be fresh chunky fruit. this time round it looked more like tinned fruit. I was there with a friend in Januray time and we got a meal in the hotel that evening. We both got the worst meal Ive every had yet. Reheated hard and just minging. 15 June 2009

3.5 star ratingSome of the reception and management were very helpful and professional. On complaining that some youngsters had been banging on my door and then running away laughing during the night, the manager couldn't have been more apologetic pointing out that they have a zero tolerance to noise. He assured me they would be asked to leave. One member of reception staff, on booking in was very abrupt, unhelpful and unpleasant.11 September 2009
5.0 star ratingA very pleasant stay. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast served until 11.00 a.m. at weekends which was great. Very centrally situated13 October 2009

5.0 star ratingRooms were lovely and clean, beds comfortable. Hotel's location was excellent close to everything.Chocolate bars in bar extremely overpriced...especially when selling the same item much cheaper in the vending machines in the hotel and there was no price list regarding the confectionery. I think £2 for a caramel is disgusting!!!!28 October 2009

5.0 star ratingThe hotel was sparkling. It was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. The bed was most comfortable and the room was large. The bathroom was spotless and the internet access in the lobby and on the second floor was a huge bonus to someone who was travelling without a laptop. First class. Absolutely none!01 November 2009
4.5 star ratingPerfectly situated for us, close to city centre and all the amenities. Late bar and long breakfast hours.Air conditioning vent in our room was vibrating all night making a lot of noise. View of the hostel across the road was not very appealing.11 November 2009
4.5 star ratingExcellent experience. Stayed in many hotels over the years in Glasgoe City and found Jurys Hotel to better than some which have a higher rating. Good sized family room, clean, fresh and modern. Very attentive, professional and well trained staff. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and refreshed right up until cut off time of 11.30am. This hotel is very much in tune with the modern day traveller.16 December 2009
3.0 star rating found the seating area and bar area very cold due to the number of people going in and out which meant that the doors were constantly opening. Also would have liked to have been informed that the dining room would not be operating due to Christmas parties. The buffet area could also have been better arranged as when busy people kept getting in each others .taggart16 December 2009

3.5 star ratingCentral location and the restaurant served nice food.On arrival we found the room to be very cold, after contacting the reception they had a member of housekeeping staff come to look at the heating system which she re-set, she also provided an electric heater. Heating system still didn't work, not very satisfactory12 March 2010

4.0 star ratingGreat location. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with bath and shower. Breakfast was great with a good choice to suit all tastes and you can eate as much as you want.Would not recommend eating in the bar as food was of poor quality and expensiveTiana - Northern Ireland18 July 2010

5.0 star ratingThe hotel was great....clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the air. The front desk was accommodating and found us another room. The Scottish breakfast was delicious and so filling! Only complaint is the website states it has a "carpark" when in reality it is a public parking garage around the corner. The hotel does give you a discount but it was not a cost I planned on.02 August 2010
4.0 star ratinghotel near shopping area. Staff friendly. When told of noise at night the person in charge was very apologetic and knew of situation and offered another weekend with a room on a higher floor when we want to take it up Very noisy during night even though I asked for quiet room. The room we did get was a handicapped room which had through door to next room if needed which made noise worse as people next door v. noisy and shouting. Football match on next day. Had to call reception as someone kept knocking our door at 3.00. which was quite frightening as they would not go away. dot22 February 2011
4.0 star ratingStaff very friendly and efficient.Room was very basic and overlooking Glasgow Central Station platforms so no prospect of opening the window for fresh air due to the noise of the trains. Also there were no batteries in the TV remote control.Pacho19 April 2011

5.0 star ratingThis is the 2nd time I have stayed here for a concert. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Queens Street Station, but central for shopping. It is modern and clean, the food was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definately stay here again when in Glasgow.29 June 2011

4.0 star ratingGreat location and very good / comfortable areas throughout Hotel. Also partner delighted that there was rooms for smokers. Very friendly staff.Felt smoking rooms were very basic with not very nice soft furnishings.Expect non-smoking rooms better standard. Very dissapointed about bar prices. We paid over £16 for two double drinks and paid just £6.20 in bar in city. We would have prefered to relax in hotel bar at night but were forced to go out due to prices. If this was lowered you would be prviding a better service to guests and also improve bar / hotel profits.John R.12 September 2011
the hotel is in an exelent position in the heart of glasgow city centre main shopping area and theatres for evening entertainment the train and bus stations are just a few minutes away this hotel is very clean and well maintained to a high standard with very freindly staff whom are very proffesionable in whatever service they do for you as a guest None27 November 2011
4.5 star ratingA very pleasant comfortable stay.4 of us ordered food at the same time and it was served at different times. We were unable to eat together as a group. Servings were very small considering the price paid.Titch14 December 2011

4.0 star ratingstaff were very friendly and professional. Room was clean and had everything we needed.Hot breakfast buffet food was not very nice. Seemed to be heated up rather than cooked. There were also queues for the hot food as they had shut one side of the hot plates down.21 March 2012

3.0 star ratingWhen we arrived there was no booking for us luckily i took all documents with booking referance numbers on , the room was clean but very noisey with the train station right next door , the corridors strongly smelled of cigarette smoke which we found very off putting . When we went down for breakfast in the morning they had no one booked under our name and we were asked if we had paid for breakfast ,i said i would go back upstairs and get the booking forms but was told it doesnt matter just go in and i will check later it didnt make us feel very welcome .Mags18 March 2012
4.0 star ratingThe hotel rooms were well maintained and the decor of the rooms was perfect with less clutter. The breakfast lacked the quality you would expect from Jury's Inn brand with great decor. Less options for Vegetarian .... no cakes option. No staff at the counters to help you. However, I appreciate the waiter coming and clearing the table for empty plates. The overall experience of waking up in the morning and enjoying your breakfast was very dissappointing. The worst part was when you enter the breakfast area the staff questions you whether the breakfast rate was included in the room package? I mean would the hotel have that information already... it was embarrasing as I was accompanied with a business colleague.29 October 2012
4.5 star ratingThis hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Glasgow City Centre. The staff are pleasant and good to deal with and our room was spotlessly clean.Only negative is to be careful about parking. Make sure you park in the Q Carpark as the hotel have a special deal with them and you get 24hr parking for £7. The other car park is £14.scotslass16 April 2013
4.0 star ratingEasy check in, staff lovely, breakfast lovely Too noisy. Group of girls running about the corridor at 3am, shouting and screaming, doors banging etc. They were smoking so set the fire alarm off also. This went on for about half hour, not one member off staff approached them. jackie 16 April 2013
5.0 star ratingWe were extremely pleased with the hotel. We read some reviews before we came and were a little concerned about the noise from Central Station. We heard none of it, the trains are almost at a standstill at this point and certainly don't make enough noise to bother you.My google search was, hotels in Glasgow with free parking. This was not the case, there was a charge of £7 per day. The car park is across the road in a side street. It is a one system with numerous traffic lights and if you miss the turning (as i did) for the car park you have to go round the whole thing again.Nicky Davies16 April 2013
4.0 star ratingQuick check in , friendly courteous staff, well appointed rooms , decent sleep quality , well presented and plentiful breakfast. Well positioned for the city centre with entertainment, shopping as well as eating and drinking establishments all close by.Rooms opposite lifts can be noisy due to other guests.Cammy16 April 2013
4.5 star ratingGood location. Car park very close (one streets confusing though) Staff appear not to understand pre booking and prepaid vouchers. Was asked to pay for accommodation again and also for breakfast again! Charging for wifi is a rip off. £10 for 24 hours (reduced just now to £5)Spooner06 May 2013
5.0 star ratingThe staff at the hotel were very helpful. We actually booked the wrong day and only found out when we got to the hotel after travelling from Manchester. The staff dealt with it very quickly and efficiently and found us a room at the hotel. We then had a fantastic weekdend. Thankyou to all of the staff.Ann Brady01 May 2013

5.0 star ratingThe quality of the hotel for the price is second to none. Location, room and breakfast were all superb. Have paid 3 times the price in the past for hotels not nearly as good.28 October 2013
3.5 star ratingRoom was spacious and cleanIt was very disappointing that when my husband and children went for breakfast they were told it was not included and were asked to pay £12 each, on checking out I showed the receptionist the paperwork evidencing a Scottish breakfast was included we were then offered a breakfast however my husband was still angry in fact it caused us to have a disagreement as he accused me of not arranging for breakfast, we didn't have time to go back to restaurant as we had a train to catch and resorted in giving the children a sandwich from m & s, we have been offered a free breakfast next time we stay at jury's it's not often the four of us have the opportunity to do this and now that this offer has been made how does it become a reality, I would be happier to have the breakfasts reimbursed as you were quick enough to suggest we payAnonymous 26 March 2014

4.5 star ratingIt is very handy for the central station not too far to carry your luggage. We had a room overlooking the river Clyde with double aspect windows very spacious and had air conditioning we slept very well and the breakfast buffet was available for a few hours so no mad scramble for food. The bar served costa coffee as well as food and large screen tvs.On arrival we had water and biscuits on the tea tray but these were not renewed on our second night. The entrance could be quite busy with people smoking just outside which is not so pleasant for non smokers.Anonymous 16 June 2014
