Michael Bauer21 November 2011
3.5 star ratingThe website advertised the spacious rooms for their customers. I now understand the term 'not room to swing a cat'. There was hardly walking room at either side of the bed to get to the top of the bed. To see out of the window you had to stand on tip-toe and neither myself or my partner are particularly short, but then the view was not actually worth it as the room looked out an office building. The bathroom door would not completely open due to the towel radiator behind it. The shower door could not be opened either due to the handle on the bath on one side and the tap on the basin on the other. The cold tap had part of it missing. Behind the taps on the bath had black mould and the finishing of the silcone round the bath was of poor quality. My partner had to fix the toilet cistern to stop it running. The breakfast lounge was not large enough for all the customers and we had to go upstairs to the lounge to eat from a coffee table.AJPV17 December 2011

3.5 star ratingGood location. Nearby secure parking with hotel discount. Good price from internet. Breakfast was good. Room was clean/tidy and comfortable.Only stayed one night and was allocated room 104 which was next to the reception desk. I asked the reception staff if it would be noisy with people entering / leaving and was assured that it would not. WRONG it was !!. 30 April 2013

4.5 star ratingDebbie on reception was very welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast room staff also cheerful and friendly. All makes a big difference to the experience. Location is in a quiet side of town, Charing Cross Station around the corner and main shops within 15 minute walk. Excellent, reliable free WiFi internet. Room was large, quiet, nice and dark in the morning so had great lie-ins. Great shower room. Limited , but tasty breakfast, self service but that's cool with me. A big thanks.jimmee19 October 2013

4.0 star ratingHotel was very nice, as were the staff. Breakfast was a good variety and spotless facilities. Great value for money and good location. First checked in and room was fine but bathroom was a wet room for disabled visitors. I asked to change rooms for a proper bath and bathroom and although they couldn't do it the first night, we were moved for the second and third night.Should have been asked if we minded the wet room when booking as there is no indication that you may get put in that room on the website. The room was perfectly fine but I personally wanted a bath.Carole25 February 2014

5.0 star ratingI was very pleased with how helpful and welcoming the staff were, very good knowledge of the parkig in and around the hotel. Room was spotless, abit noisey at night but with single glazed windows that was understandable but it didn't take away from the experience as the hotel looks very good with the large windows.I couldn't complain, im just sorry I missed the breakfast but as my stay was around the time the clocks went forward and I had a long day ahead I decides to use my time to sleep a little longer :)chris mackay02 April 2014
Stayed in a large family room with plenty of space for 2 adults & 2 children. Room exceptionnally clean, tidy, and for a city centre base not at all noisy. We all slept very well! Room rate included breakfast which is self-serve but staff more than happy to help & all very friendly & polite. Just wished we'd had a bit more time on our trip to see the beautiful city of Glasgow! We were 2 floors up & given no assistance carrying all our luggage & 2 children up the stairs to our room was quite difficult. I'm only guessing there was no lift as no mention was made by reception staff that there was one (But overall we were very impressed by high standards in the hotel).RebekahT07 July 2014

4.0 star ratingthe room was nice and big. The bed was larger than a double - it was 2 single together so plenty of room. lovely high ceiling. there's no bar on site so was not able to borrow some wine glasses. the room was awfully warm when we were getting ready to go out for the evening. toots22 June 2016
4.5 star ratingRooms are clear, staff is friendly, breakfast is more than satisfying. Location is great. You have two mugs in the room and a nice selection of tee. The bathroom is good, and the bed is great. No plates, forks, knifes in the room, it would really be useful. It was summer when we stayed there but the temperature outside was about between 10-16 degree, and in the night the room was quite cold, and there were no means to make it a bit warmer.Anonymous 22 June 2016
