1.5 star ratingWalls were dirty, no restaurant-as travelling alone i had to wander about to find dinner25 September 2008
4.5 star ratingWe were greeted by two young girls who made us fel welcome. Check in was made very easy for us.I have stayed at the hotel on two occasions and have never been able to get into the carpark, I know it is not easy but i wonder if it is not being used by people not staying at the hotel???.24 September 2008
3.0 star ratingGood enough if you look for a cheap hotel in town. Good location (very close to Kelvingrove Park). Good breakfast. You don't want to stay in this hotel if you're looking for a glamorous place for your honeymoon, but otherwise it's OK.10 October 2008
4.0 star ratingExcellent place to stay if you need to get to Kelvin Hall. The Hotel is just 5 minutes walk away. It is also only 15/20min taxi ride from the airport. Plenty of places to eat out in all price brackets too. Clean, Comfortable and affordable.07 October 2008
3.0 star ratinggood value for money, good foodone of the reception staff was really grumpy, bathroom was a bit dirty, slightly too far away from city centre02 November 2008
2.0 star ratingThe restaurant was being re-decorated so was not great06 November 2008
5.0 star ratingReception Staff very friendly and helpful, cheerfulShower Stall could do with grouting renewed as it looks unhygenic and dirty.08 November 2008
4.5 star ratingIn a very convenient position for many places of interest. Parking facilities- a definite bonus!A very small step outside the entrance door could easily be 'missed'.17 November 2008
3.0 star ratingGood customer service. bed was confortable. The bathroom tiles were very dirty. The lock inside the room could not lock. Room not well lit. Too noisy having a front of the building room, need double glazing.18 November 2008
4.5 star ratingNIce cosy, very clean roomI could hear people in neighbouring rooms, the walls were very thin. The 'Scottish breakfast' is misleading. The choices were cereal (not porridge) or toast.22 November 2008
2.0 star ratingin urgent need of upgrading in all departments03 December 2008
2.0 star ratingReception staff very unhelpful, at times incompetent and rude. The hotel needs a complete makeover - so much is dirty or doesn't work.08 December 2008
1.5 star ratingDirty hotel and chaotic service08 December 2008
2.5 star ratingvery hot room great waitress service the person at the reception called christopher not friendly or approachable did not find check in process professionally done as was asked for my payment again did not find any of the reception staff to smile or make you feel welcome, would not recommend this hotel11 December 2008
2.0 star ratingcentral enough location 15 minutes walk into city centerroom very basic and small, bed was broke too big hallow in the middle of it, staff on front desk were less than frendly or hepfull, wanted to spend as little time as possable in room27 January 2009
2.5 star ratingAlthough we had a very nice time in Glasgow, the Hotel was only just satisfactory. Work was taking place in the kitchen and the dining room area and the side plates were covered in dust on both breakfast servings and the food was very greasy. The general cleanliness was not quiet up to standard and the hotel looked a little tired. However the value for money with your discount was very helpful. We will not be recommending this Hotel to friends.20 February 2009
2.5 star ratingn/acold reception,cold bedroom,parking nightmaregeordiecouple.20 March 2009
4.5 star ratingthe hotel was fine the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was goodthe hotel was a bit from the town centre, fine walk if the weather is fine, otherwise the bus stop was just outside the hotel16 March 2009
4.0 star ratingGood sized room, clean bathroom, breakfast was lovely. Not enough pillows, bathroom was not like the picture on the internet.04 May 2009
3.5 star ratingThe room was clean and decor was fresh. The staff were friendly and polite. The sound proofing was non-existant between the rooms. The bathroom had some problems - shaver socket did not work, the toilet roll holder was not fixed to the wall properly so the roll kept falling off, it smelled of damp, they had obviously been doing tome work to the bathroom as ther was some silicone missing around the bath and a smell of new silicone. The matress was uncomfortable, too soft and lumpy. This was advertised as a 3 star. It was 2 star at best. Carpets could do with replacing. There was what looked disturbingly like a bullet hole in the window in the restaurant where breakfast was served. The hallways and the lift need freshened up pretty badly.14 July 2009
3.0 star ratingcheck in receptionist was very rude01 September 2009
4.0 star ratingfriendly atomsphere, very central. The room was clean, but decor badly needed freshened up. The bath panel was hanging off, basically it too needed to be freshened up.08 September 2009

4.5 star ratingNice, good value hotel. The man on duty on the morning I left was especially helpful.Hardly any really, the toilet hadn't been flushed since the last visitor. The cold tapa nd sink drainage were slow.30 July 2010
3.0 star ratingFriendly staff very helpfull, room was clean lobby area modern and well decorated, comfortable feel.Cooked breakfast very disappointing clearly food had been cooked sometime before serving and kept warm, so not very fresh. Lack of basic quality ingerdiants, ie tinned mushrooms. Taps in bathroom on washbasin very hard to turn on and off. Bathroom door creaked when opening and this led to disturbed sleep during the night it needs to be oiled. Mattress was very hard and led to pain and discomfort. Distance from hotel to city centre misleading and its a bit further than indicated.08 September 2010
