4.5 star ratingThe hotel was lovely for the price we payed for it. The 3 nights for the price of 2 was a bargain. Staff were polite and freindly, rooms were cleaned well daily, breakfast was fantastic and haven't got a bad word to say about the hotel in general.N/a17 December 2008

3.0 star ratinglocationno parking despite being advertised as available. having called the previous day was again informed there was parking [ not subject to availability or any thing else] offered excuses about xmas crowds etc. i searched the internet specifically for a city centre hotel with parking and ended up paying heavily for street parking having to return after 3 hrs to move car elsewhere [max time 3hrs] couldn't enjoy a drink 'cos i had to drive car later. not very nice and little help from staff.21 December 2010

4.0 star ratingI loved the quirkiness of the furnishings throughout the hotel, it made the hotel unique. Could not fault staff, very friendly and professional. Perfectly situated for all the major attractions.Room lighting could be brighter, there are several lamps, ceiling lights, yet not in the right places by the large room mirrors which would have been helpful, and the overhead bedroom reading light could not be angled to your own requirements. That is my only quibble. allsorts02 January 2013

5.0 star ratingFantastic location, attentive staff and decently priced! I was travelling with two uncles, my father and my cousin. We were well accommodated and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The restaurant has an excellent selection for a wide varieties of allergies and dietary requirements and will gladly make substitutions where required.Absolutely nothing bad about this hotel!Naom Box - Quark Expeditions12 May 2015
3.0 star ratingConvieniently located just next to the town center. Room standard was pretty, well, standard. Currently undergoing some renovation of rooms giving a quite strong smell of wet paint in the corridors. Staff, especially the concierge, was alert and on their toes. Some reception staff seem to take their job serious acting to complaints immediatly while others just seem to not bather.Unfortunatly had the room on arrival not been properly decluttered. Empty winebottle and two glasses with wine recidues had not been removed when cleaning. Got an apologetic letter and a choklatebox from the manager next day. Unfortunatly that was all. Because the next day, although I had hanged a "Please service room" sign on the doorhandle, (Sign mysteriosly disappeared from the room and handle.) the bed had not been made up and the complementarys had not been stocked up.Jörgen19 July 2015
Food is nice and lobby/bar is comfortable.Had been staying at this hotel for years, were very good customers, spent a lot of money eating, drinking and meeting friends at the bar and hotel restaurant to eat. Hotel standards seem to be dropping each time we stay, standard rooms are basic, in need or refurb and prices are way too high for average rooms. We had a small issue which was not our fault, it was clearly not our fault in black and white, management dealt with it so badly and rudely, multiple phone calls and shouting at my partner is just unacceptable. Our experiences over the last few stays haven't been great but we gave benefit of doubt by rebooking but this stay was the worst. We won't be returning, will not recommend. Friends, family and colleagues have been informed of this event. We used to recommend this hotel to a lot, never again. Lots of other Dublin hotels to choose from. We will never stay here again.Anonymous 04 August 2015
