3.0 star ratingGood locationWas disappointed to learn on arrival that having booked into one Leeds Travelodge we were bumped off to another. The staff did not seem interested and there was no apology. The room was tired, the show showed signs of mould and overall impression was that it needed a good deep cleanmb22 November 2011
2.0 star ratingGood position off the top of the HeadrowWhen we arrived at the hotel (Travelodge, Blayds Court) we were informed that our room had been double booked and we were being transferred to the other hotel on Vicar Lane. We then had to walk across the city to this other hotel only to arrive and bluntly be told that we weren't able to check in until 3 pm even though our booking confirmed that check in was 2pm. We were told for the pleasure of an early check in we would be charged £10. This is unacceptable. In refusing to pay the £10 we then had to spend over an hour wandering around the city centre with all our luggage as no alternative was offered. When we eventually got into our room it was extremely basic. The shower was filthy with dust and mould in the grouting. The windows were not double glazed but had secondary glazing which did nothing to block out the grinding beat of a nearby club well into the early hours. Also, one of the towels had interesting brown staining around the edges. Nice. Cheap price for a hotel should not equal below average facilities. Won't be staying in a Travelodge again.22 November 2011

Very comfortable beds, very friendly and really helpful and obliging staff, lots of channels on the TV, great central location just minutes from the train station and the shops but no problem with noise from the street.
