5.0 star ratingThe hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. It is well situated within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel was busy but there was no noise throughout the night from the corridors. The Wifi was very good also and easy to connect to.None30 November 2012

3.5 star ratingThe hotel was well laid out and the bar area was very comfortable, easy access to the rooms and the area very quiet with good access to the city centre. The rooms were decent sized, warm and the beds were comfortable too. There were very few towels in the room for two people. The television was not compatible with gaming consoles systems, which was a major disappointment and the staff were reluctant to help in this matter. We were treated fairly inhospitably by the cleaning staff coming to clean the room prior to check out (at 11.30am) which soured our stay somewhat. JP13 February 2013

5.0 star ratingthe hotel was amazing.. really beautiful and helpful for what we paid it was more then a 3* hotel to me. the beds were so comfy and everyone was really friendly. we will definitely be coming back to this hotel.the only complaint I had was the prices of the food was ridiculous £16 for a cheeseburger. we had to go back into town to get food to keep in the hotel as the prices were too expensive. 5.0 star ratingNice room. Very comfy double bed. Lots of desk space. Double wardrobe. An iron, ironing board and trouser press attached to the wall was very handy. Bathroom very nice. Shower gel provided, no shampoo, so had to use as both which was fine I guess. The inclusive gym was very handy. Lobby nice. Restaurant nice, small portions but well presented and delicious. Breakfast was great. Bar is good. Shower kept randomly turning very hot unfortunately, received no response to the service form I left. Gym is small, fits up to 6 people, but it's not used much so I always had a space when I went in the evening; could do with more mirrors to make it look better and air con.Chris27 October 2013

5.0 star ratingGreat location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food and bar facilities. Warm and comfortable room.We paid extra for a room upgrade but were still troubled by inconsiderate noisy guests on two if the three nights we stayed. This was reported to reception who ejected the troublemakers. This still resulted in loss of sleep with being disturbed at 4am. We got an apology but it would have been nice to be offered somethimg for our trouble. Even a free drink at the bar would have been a nice gesture but nothing was forthcoming.Barnesstorm15 February 2017
