4.0 star ratingGreat location and price for a 4 star hotel. Staff were very helpful and the food was good. The hotel has a nice relaxing bar and big flat screen tv. Cost of hotel parking was reasonable in comparison to other 4 star hotels.The hotel was undergoing some renovation of the stairs and they had problems with the Jacuzzi so this was out of order. We used the pool but it was clear this area wasn't cleaned very regularly. The walls of the jacuzzi and pool had a layer of black scum which was quite off putting duing a swim!Debbi12 November 2010
4.0 star ratingVery convenient place for shopping in Leeds. Love the swimming pool and leisure facilities. Staff always pleasant and helpful. I have been many times before and probably think that this is the best hotel to stay in the city centre of Leeds.To be nit picking I found the decor in the rooms somewhat dowdy. I suppose it was chosen for a businessman's stay, it was very masculine, and there were a few grubby marks on the wall. My biggest bug bear was the restaurant. My 2 daughters and granddaughter arrived for breakfast. There was no one to direct us to our seats, so we just sat down, and waited, and waited, so we decided to just help ourselves as it was a buffet, but we still wanted tea and coffee, which required someone to serve us. We had to ask 3 times before we actually got any. We came to the conclusion that if we were down and out in Leeds this would be a great place to come, because nobody asked us for our room number for payment. As it was we had already paid. There needs to be someone in overall charge of the guests when they arrive, and that they are attended to. There weren't any plates, the cereal bowls ran out., it just wasn't properly organised. The breakfast however, was very good. The fried eggs were very nice, which is difficult in large quantities. Just not organised properly.12 November 2013

5.0 star ratingstaff very friendly and helpful-good knowledge of the local area-will do anything possible to help you-just ask. Left my daughters engagement ring behind when we checked out-both in house and housekeeping did all they could to secure its safe return-can't say thank you enough----well located for all local amenities-----don't forget your gym kit-its free to use the gym, pool, sauna and hot tub. will definitely be visiting again....thank you for a pleasant stay nonewatson03 January 2014
