3.5 star ratinggood location to gatwick very close to main terminals, rooms basic but clean, bar staff a young girl came round a few times asking if we wanted more drinks which was very nice after such a long flight some staff very slow and unresponsive took quite a while for reception staff a young man to find me on your system mite have just been a old computer system and not the staff, they did say system was very slow, 13 November 2012

 I think it is disgraceful that I am not allowed a refund despite the fact that having a heart attack prevented me from staying at your hotel. Booking reference 164-1709956. £33.99 for the sake of compassion or goodwill?! Evidently not. Doesn't make me inclined to recommend you, does it?!!! One of your telephone women was also rude and unhelpful - thankfully another was not and explained that it was "terms and conditions" that stopped the refund!!09 April 2013

A nice clean room with adequate facilities for a short stay.When I arrived at Gatwick airport, I telephoned the hotel to confirm their location. Upon speaking to the staff, they informed me that the room had been cancelled. This was very worrying but fortunately I was able to get get the room reinstated.I have no idea why the booking has been cancelled and neither had the hotel staff. Aggie10 April 2013

5.0 star ratingClose to airport-10 GBP in taxi or 3GBP by bus.Had to return for second night due to missed flight so were able to have the same room back again and have the free breakfast we missed before we departed! Only 3GBP for 24 hour wi fi which was essential after missing flight & having to re arrange everything online. Caught a bus outside to spend the day in Crawley 20 mins away which is worthwhile .very helpful staff & gave us a quiet room as requested.Only bad thing was wrong information from receptionist who told us breakfast started at 5.30 am, when in fact we could have had the continental one at 4am- if we had known this we would have left a lot earlier and actually not missed our flight!!Scorpiojo07 September 2014

3.0 star ratingRoom was ok. Good size and had tea and coffee facilities. Disappointed that there wasn't a hairdryer in the room. Didn't want to go down to reception in a bath robe after showering. Room could have been cleaner. Had dinner downstairs and was able to get my partner a bottle of beer in ,the meal deal however not being a drinker and asked for an appletise or J20 and was told they weren't included. 3.5 star ratingAt the end of a 21 hour flight this was a welcome intro to UK. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was fairly basic but comfortable.
