This airport hotel is directly linked to the southern terminal of London's Gatwick Airport. It takes 5 minutes to reach the terminal building via a covered walkway. Links to the public transport are 700m away. The south coast of England may be reached by taking the M23 and M24 motorways or by alternative train services. Renovated in 2008, this hotel comprises a total of 821 rooms, including 4 suites. 24-hour reception desk is available. You will find a café, gift shop and restaurants with a non-smoking area. Wireless Internet is available. Car park is also available (fees may apply). Our rooms are comfortable and well equipped. There is an on-site gym, open 24 hours a day. Guests may select their meals from a buffet. Lunch and evening meals may be selected from the à la carte menu or chosen from the set menu. 2.5 star ratingReception and Quick check out was good.Disappointing room, needed refurbishment on our return. We has an excellent room on our previous visit with all facilities and were extremely disappointed to be given an inferior room which cost much more on our return visit. I will certainly consider finding alternative accommodation in future and will inform my friends and collegues of the standard of rooms.27 October 2008

4.5 star ratingThere was a problem with my booking having not been received by the hotel. The staff dealt with it very well and professionally. The hotel was fully booked on my first night so I ended up with a rather poor room but was transferred the next morning to a much better room for the rest of my stay.01 August 2011

4.0 star ratingStaff very goodHotel room was in the old part of hotel and was far from the standard I expect from the hilton hotel. Stayed in new room previuosly and was more then pleased . If customers are given rooms in the older section of the hotel they should be cherged at a cheaper rate. The room we stayed in was of the standard of a travel lodge.18 November 2012

1.5 star ratingwe got a room at the last minutetoo expensive There was only 1 set of towels although the room was booked for 2 The receptionist spoke to us in a very loud voice as if we either did not understand English or were hard of hearing The mattress was very bad, we could feel the springs poking through made for a very uncomfortable night considering how much the stay cost In the restuarant I asked if the steak sizes were too large for a lady to finish, the waitress responded that 'we do not set the prices.' I explained that my question was not on price point rather if the portion was too large. We checked into the hotel after 8pm; but the staff and concierge all wished us a nice day. 4.5 star ratingWe stayed in the Glass Extension and the room was well appointed. Nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. There was a good range of toiletries provided in the bathroom which was handy. We did not use the Bar or Restaurant on our overnight stay. It is really easy to walk through to the South terminal from the hotel, so it was an ideal location for our early start as we had no faffing about with shuttle buses. I would sty again, but only if the price was right.We had a look at the sports bar as an option to eat in , but it was noisy and lacking in atmosphere and had a limited menu so we ate at the Terminal instead.Anonymous 02 October 2015
