4.0 star ratingThe rooms that we stayed in had been refurbished and were decorated to a high standard, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had a great view over the Liver Building. Very close to all the amenities.Very noisy at night, maybe we were just unlucky with the other guests staying there at the time but there was a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and in the corridors. You can't open the windows, so you have to like air conditioning!12 August 2008

2.5 star ratingGood value for moneyI ordered room service at 03:30 and had my order delivered, but was not allowed to put it on a room account and no receipt was produced. The cost was also a made-up inflated figure. Be very careful!Ste12 November 2009
2.0 star ratingfood was poor over one hour wait between finishing dinner and getting dessert ,when we arrived we had 45 minute wait 2 check-in and reception staff not very helpful 07 January 2010
4.0 star ratingVery quick check in. Clean room. Good location.Ironing board was broken but nothing else negative to say!10 May 2010
3.5 star ratingReception area/lobby very impressive, good decor and bright in appearance. Check in was efficient, staff very politeI booked two standard rooms, both of the rooms evidenced the need for refurbishment, even if the walls were repainted it would significantly improve the appearance. I expected more for the price, even for a standard room The room was not representative of a 4* hotel.Robert J22 April 2010

3.5 star ratingThe hotel staff were friendly and the cost of the room was excellentthe room service options were limited at the end of the evening and the standard of the food received aligned to the cost which was further inflated by a 'tray' charge, was not appropriate03 February 2012
4.5 star ratingGood price, excellent view, comfortable room, good service.Room was a little tired, as was the hotel generally. 28 November 2012
2.5 star ratingRoom was small and cramped for the money paid. Travelodges are much cheaper and you get a much bigger room! Decor was dated. Had to pay for parking also which should have been included.Drills20 December 2012

4.5 star ratingStayed here a lot now, we love it, okay it's not the Hilton or hope street but you are not paying those kind of prices. Staff are excellent, they can not do enough for you. 12pm check out, so if you have a late night you can sleep in. Over night parking £6.00. Great hotel if the price is right.. Excellent view of the river Mersey.Lol13 May 2013

5.0 star ratingI have nothing negative to say about the hotel or the staff, we have stayed here pn many occasions and will be back fit our anniversary in a couple of weeks, last weekend we stayed for a birthday and arrived to find a card and Chocs to welcome us which was a lovely touch, it's central for all you would need and would recommend it to allNo negative except the room I usually stay in had had the fridge removed and as I only drink water not tea or çoffee but a tad inconvenient because of the heat waveSuzie15 July 2013

4.5 star ratingWe stayed at this hotel for 2 nights Beb & Breakfast. We requested a high room with a view over the Mersey. We were allocated room number 1012 it was on the 12th floor and had a lovely view of the river. Room was clean bathroom a bit on the small side but okay. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. Only one small complaint was that the complimentary toiletries bottles were empty when we got to our room and were never renewed the 2 days we were there. Marco4404 April 2016
