4.0 star ratingClean with very helpfull staff, competitive price.Has seen better days and could do with a renovation.03 October 2008
3.5 star ratingRooms were very spacious and warm. Overall we were happy with both the room and service especially for the price paid considering its close proximity to both the town centre and train station. The room was very basic no shower, tv or even radio. Although happy with the cleanliness of the room it was in need of a lick of of paint and new carpet (rather stunning iron hole in the carpet that did make us giggle). The breakfast was basic but ok although we were left wondering where to go to have breakfast/ get a cup of tea not being enlightened by the rather surly and unhelpful member of staff on duty this was rather sad as all other members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Anon29 March 2009
4.5 star ratingGreat localization, professional, helpful and very nice stuff, quite good room and not bad prices. I hardly recommend! Mariusz, Poland04 September 2009
2.0 star ratingGenerally clean and warm.Very poor. I thought I was stepping back to the 1950's in terms of the quality of the room. Very basic - no television, radio or any other kind of communication/entertainment facilities. When I asked why there was no television, I was advised that they were not provided in the "cheaper" rooms. In over 20yrs of business travel around the world I have never heard that before!. No shower - a bath yes, but with old cigarette burns visible. Generally speaking, the bathroom was grim - peeling and cracked walls and cheap finish. Noisy street outside. In all a very poor return on the £60.00 per night that I paid to stay.28 October 2009
3.5 star ratingThis was a great little hotel just outside the station, and ideal for town. The staff were very approachable and keen to help.Singles room should have a shower in there rooms, although there is 1 at the end of a corridor. 21 October 2009
