Hotel Information

This charming hotel, located in the centre of the town, is just 10 minutes from the railway station and the old medina. This historic hotel, built in 1922 and last renovated in 2000, offers 75 rooms. Fully air-conditioned, the hotel offers facilities including a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and lift access to the upper floors. The conference facilities may be of use to business guests. A laundry service is additionally provided, and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park or garage. All these beautiful hotel rooms are air-conditioned (individually regulated) and heated and are fitted with contemporary amenities. Each room has a private balcony or terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are provided on the beach. Guests are served a complimentary continental breakfast buffet each morning. Lunch is offered buffet-style or à la carte.

2.0 star ratingBreakfast reasonable. Reception/communal areas very nice .Location good.Towels and sheets a dirty brown colour.Room they put me in first had a major water leak. Room they changed me to was over a nightclub.Earplugs required to get any sleep. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it anyone.I would take this hotel off your list30 March 2009

2.0 star ratingThe public salonsWe were given room no.200 which was horrible. No water running, broken air condition, small and smellful room. When we complained we were given a better room. But the hotel is certainly not 4 or 3 stars, rather 2 stars.04 June 2009

2.5 star ratingLocation very close to the city center The rooms are overall large and clean The "coffee" area is pretty beautiful and relaxingEverything looks a bit decadent from the carpets in the corridors to the room toilettes. We had water in our toilet and we were not changed. The service in the breakfast was pretty bad. The timing that had been told us was changed and the waiter was very unfriendly trying not to serve us at all.26 May 2009
2.0 star ratingNot even close to being a 4* hotel. The rooms and hotel in general are dark and dingy. The swimming pool that appears in some photographs is non-existent. The staff had lost my passport and had to look for it. Staff professionalism is not good at all. 2.0 star ratingtransatlantique hotel took another payment from me. they said my credit card didn't work. (Ididn't checked before I go) So we had to charge 500 dirhem for one night staying at hotel. I paid as a cash 500 dirhem. And when I wanted a reciept they said next morning... but never gave it to me. Unfortunately at home I saw I had already paid $64 from my credit card. The staff is cheater. before paying anything just think twice. Don't trust them. 07 December 2010

Die komplette Nacht im ebenerdigen Club des Hotels Party mit Livemusik, sodass man im 2. Stock keine Ruhe finden konnte. 1.0 star ratingNothing has changed since it was built.Dirty, very old dated, staff sleeping at the lobby at ten am. Very noisy in the evenings. Poor food...I will never recommend this hotel to anybody. It was an awful experience. 07 April 2012

3.0 star ratingAverage. You get what you paid for. Its ok for a few nights. We asked for a room away from the club music and they ensured that so was good of them. Not close enough to the corniche, next time would probably book a hotel closer, but was close to the old medinah.Anonymous 26 July 2016
