Hotel Information

The Enasma hotel is located in the heart of Casablanca, Morocco's largest city. It is extremely well connected, minutes away from the bus and train stations, and approximately 20 km away from the Mohammed V International Airport.The hotel is an old building dating from the 1920's, refurbished in 2015 to give it a modern look. It only has 24 rooms, what makes it perfect for families and couples who wish to discover this exotic city and enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay and a close and familiar service. The breakfast buffet is served in the terrace, where guests can relax feeling the warmth of the Moroccan sun.The sandy beach is 2 km away from this historic hotel, and there are plenty of tourist sites to visit in the city centre. The Hassan II Mosque is at a 10 minute walk, and there are numerous shops, restaurants and pubs really at a stone's throw from the hotel.

2.0 star ratingat breakfast when the waiter cleared the tables, any food that was left over was put back in the various baskets and dishes to be consumed by unknowing guests, I watched as guests were smoking and handling their food, if it was uneaten it was not thrown away. 2.0 star ratingStaff was nice but not very prompt in giving attention to what you need.Had to ask many times before soap was provided. Shower head was missing, as well as the curtains around the shower. My friend and I ended up not showering. Very noisy, both noise from the street and other guests watching TV loudly and laughing in the hallway past midnight. Don't be fooled by the pictures, this place is not that nice but a good bit depressing. However, the view from the terrace is really nice, with some classic architecture in the area. 17 November 2012

2.0 star ratingEvery day clean towels (brownish, they dont have clean water but WASHED), internet on reception, air condition. ADVICE: bring bug killer something for bugs, your own sampo for hands, bring your own towels for face, do not stay in hotel over day, do not expect breakfast and in that case is it perfect hotel!!! perfect for a low price of ca 200 MAD and to sleep, air condition, having shower, being alone, having internet. To mention never ever something went missing, lades who clean are polite, still have a case you lock!!! not because of them but so bugs cant get inside and lay eggs! I do not have problem if you want to contact me and ask christian.m.davidson on facebook Here i wrote about hotel my own epirience of 2 weeks and have plenty of photo, i think front of God and law that I was honest in positive and negative rewew. bad breakfast - no bread, no one speak English, cockroaches in bathroom where when i complained a hotel manager said it is NORMAL to have them (like in Morocco), oriental type 2,8 cm size (1 inch), no internet in a room, cleaning stuff polite but cleaning with rugs and not proper, dirty carpets never washed brownish smelly, noise in a street below , noise in a hotel, thin door, people yelling and hitting and fighting in a corridor, stuff looking your every move like you are some spy, so to repeat biggest problem were bugs, then noise from hotel until 3 in the midnight, stuff just jumping into room not knocking, no breakfast, not really clean, and multiply noise level at home with number 6 because nether ear plug could not make it possible to sleep. one more thing water is heated on collector on roof and i thing by hot water unit (combined heating) so when you wanna take shower it suddenly is sold-hot if someone else is having shower same time.christian.davidson@gmail.com31 July 2013
2.0 star ratingBed sheets were clean and changed and floor tiles washed every 2 days. Internet at reception. Air Condition.At reception a lot of people yelling. Close to masque so sound in unbearable, loud music on street below, carpets never washed, chairs and sofas never washed greasy, cockroaches in a room, for breakfast peace of old bread i spoon of marmalade and 30 g of butter, loud people starting 9 in the morning ending ca 3:30 in the morning, calling and yelling on corridor, to have internet you have to come to reception and sit where is bunch of Arabic guys yelling and watching every your step, no one speaks English, staff mostly don't speak french 85% only Arabic, there was fight in hotel too between Arabic guest but that is normal for them, very late there is still very loud noises, people slamming doors and moving furniture so entire room is like a drum. don't come here except you will wake 8:00 come back 2:00 and only sleep over. christian.davididson at gmail.comChristian7825 July 2013

3.0 star ratingSome attention has been paid to decorating, and the breakfast although basic had fresh bread and hot coffee. The lady serving breakfast washed her hands regularly. The reception staff were lovely. The location is good, in a side street in the centre of town, and our balcony overlooked the street so we could see lots going on! It has the potential to be a lovely place to stay. We have stayed in many budget hotels all over Morocco and have an idea what to expect for the money. However our bedroom was the dirtiest we have ever stayed in: the sheets were soiled, too small for the double bed, and very thin with no mattress cover. The bathroom sink has not been cleaned properly in weeks and the toilet didn't smell of any cleaning fluid! For the first time ever I did not leave a tip for the cleaner. The wicker chairs on the breakfast terrace were sticky with grease, yet the terrace was okay. This was the most expensive of all the budget hotels we have used. 3.0 star ratingLow cost. Friendly staff. Low (read as No frills) frills and basic. Beds comfortable and clean. Just a short walk to choice of restaurants, Simple but ample breakfast . Scruffy part of city. Side/back street location but no problems. Would we visit again ? No ! Much better can be found for not a lot more money. Only use if budget is tight and you like to experience how some of the locals live. No disrespect intended.mikesuze03 February 2016
