4.5 star ratingVery clean and well decorated hotel. Staff were very polite on reception and in the bar. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Lovely setting on the riverside.Car park was expensive at £12 per day. Noise from bars on the other side of the river might be a problem for some but didn't cause us any issues.09 October 2012
3.0 star ratingThe reception staff were very helpful, polite and professional.Having travelled some 200 mile we were disappointed that the check in was at 3pm not noon .The room was small and overlooked a brick wall. We felt the cost of £110 was excessive but as we were attending a wedding had little choice but to book a hotel near to the venue. It appeared that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment so we assumed that this account for a cold and unfriendly reception area12 February 2013
4.0 star ratingStaff friendly and helpful. Good location Rooms quite small and overpriced for a 3 star hotel. Disappointed as my husband had arranged for wine and birthday cards, for my sister-in-law and myself, to be in our room on arrival but this did not happen. However once staff were told the next morning they were apologetic and gave us the wine to take home for free.Susiewoo01 May 2013
