This enchanting and pleasant hotel is ideally located a few minutes' walk to East Cliff Beach and a 15 minutes' walk to Bournemouth Station. The hotel is also close to Bournemouth town centre, which offers a wide range of shops and bars. They are all en-suite and have a trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities. The two conference rooms that are available at the hotel are suited for any occasion whether it is business or pleasure and can hold up to 100 people. In addition, there is a health and leisure club, as well as a restaurant that serves a wide variety of mouth-watering cuisine. The lounge and bar is perfect for those lighter snacks or if guests fancy a hot chocolate or coffee. Moreover, Wireless Internet access is free to all guests and available in all public areas of the hotel.

2.5 star ratingThe location, close to the seafront, was excellent and the public areas are spacious. Price was good, too.The room I stayed in - a double for single use - was so small I had to squeeze past an old dressing table to get to the window. The room smelt musty and the keycard lock did not work (I had to return to reception and get an old fashioned key). I had dinner in the hotel - buffet style in a vast dining room. Selection was reasonable but overcooked and the tables and cutlery looked as though they'd been in use since the 1950s!23 September 2008
2.0 star ratingNoneRadiator in room and bathroom not working so room very cold as it was -2 in Bournemouth on the night of our stay, also when you flushed toilet the whole bathroom vibrated as their was an air lock in the pipe work! mentioned to reception and got 'Oh No' from the receptionist and no apologie!05 December 2008
3.0 star ratingDepressing room - every spring in what appeared to be fairly new beds were poking up! hardly got any sleep and was covered in red marks by morning. have since wondered if it was a mattress with only one 'right' side which had been turned! was unacceptable. 22 April 2009
1.5 star ratinggood locationSuperior room was totally inferior. Disgusting stains on sheets and carpets, cobwebs, hairs on bed. Bathroom filthy with hairs on the basin/bath. We had booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night. Walls are so thin you can hear the person(s) snoring in the next room. Payed over £100 per night. Daylight robbery. This is a genuine account of a genuinely terrible stay. Would not recommend (unless of course if you expect to pay 4 star prices for a slum b&b)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
