Perched right next to the popular shopping centre in Brighton and within just a 15-minutes' walk from Brighton's main railway station, this splendid urban hotel is ideally situated for business and leisure travellers alike. The famous Royal Pavilion is a 5-minute walk and The Sea Life Centre is just 500 metres away. The spacious rooms are decorated in a fresh contemporary style, fitted with cosy furniture and top-notch amenities. Nearly half of our rooms have breath-taking sea views where to watch the world go by. Beautifully framing the stunning sea views with decadent drapes.Due to an extensive refurbishment, our bar and restaurant are closed until late June. Our lift is currently out of order until early June.Any refurbishment work that is likely to disturb your stay will be carried out after 8am Monday - Friday and after 10am Saturday and Sunday

3.5 star ratingStaff paid attention to the DO NOT DISTURB sign unlike other hotels where they seem to take it as invition to come on in.Room small. OK for midweek rate but quoted weekend rate would make it seem bit expensive.23 February 2009

4.0 star ratingThe hotel is in very good place, all clubs and shops is in short walking distance and the sea next side of the street.. we had room with sea wue. Hottel is suround 2 busy streets but inside of the room is very quet and the price is best what you can find in brighton. very recomended..hotel was suround of scafolds....24 June 2012

Was offered upgrade to seaview room on arrival, well worth it.Was noisy on one night due to a 'party' in a bar over the road until 5 am in the morning, but then again it's Brighton so wouldn't put it off booking here again.Elaine Cureton15 August 2012

4.5 star ratingFrom the minute of entry the staff were absolutely fantastic ! i had a broken foot when i visited and each and everyone of them were kind , helpful and very considerate to my needs . We are planning another stay with them very soon - home from home and left feeling very sad to go ! Some guests were noisy but it was new year after all !!!Leaking roof right by the window but overall good .donna 06 January 2013
3.0 star ratingit was our anniversary and we requested the best feasible room....we were given the nosiest side of the hotel and i did not sleep well on either night. We decided we would come back to the hotel Friday pm for a nap as we would not get much sleep at night due to the proximity of club. When we got to our room the keycard did not work....we went to reception and a member of staff came up with us to comfirm that they were not working. He said he would come straight back up with 2 new keys. we waited and waited....we wanted to sleep...after a hour we called down to reception. We told them that on no circumstances did we want somone to come to the room with the keys as we wanted to sleep....the receptionist said no problem the keys woud be at reception for us to pick up on out. We settled down to sleep and just as dropping on knock on door...member of staff with new keys! we were not happy.We decided could not get to sleep so we went out.....that night was really loud from club opposite and we did not get to sleep to about 4am but we were woken on the morning by crashing and banging from upstairs room at approx 7am that morning..it was as if someone was coming through the ceiling. we decided we woud get up and check out ...we had intended to check out at 11 and spend day in brighton but we were so tired and our break had been ruined so we decided to check out asap and go home. When we got down to reception we complained about the noise and we were told by the manager that the occupants in the above room could not get into their safe and they had to get someone out to break into it. He said he had not had the chance to gauge the effect on other residents. He did offer to compensate us but as we had booked through you he said we would have to go through you. Please can you compensate us for the total of this stay...it was the worse expereince i have ever had....deborah milmoe14 January 2013

2.0 star ratingVery expensive for what it is. Both our daughters beds were broken. The windows were filthy & carpets worn & thin. Got up for breakfast to find restaurant in darkness with staff not knowing what was happening. A total let down of a hotelAnonymous 21 May 2014
