The four-star Wyndham Berlin Excelsior is located in the centre of Berlin, within walking distance of the famous shopping boulevard Kurf?rstendamm. The Zoological Garden, Europa Center, Victory Column, KaDeWe department store and many more interesting sights are easily reached on foot. The Wyndham Berlin Excelsior features 316 modern rooms and suites. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, flat screen & pay TV, WLAN , telephone and minibar. The hotel also offers five meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 120 persons. A spacious lobby, the hotel bar and two restaurants invite guests to stay. Parking is also available in both of the hotel's car parks, one of which is underground. Subway, tram and city bus connections are all found in the immediate vicinity. Tegel airport may be reached easily by bus (approx. 20 min.), Sch?nefeld airport with the Airport Express train (approx. 30 min.)Guests should note that local city tax is not included in the rate booked. This will be charged directly to guests by the hotel and payable at check in.

3.5 star ratingPositive experience with friendly staff and very good breakfast selection.Rooms very outdated and old fashioned and very very small. Would certainly not class the hotel as 4 star. Also double room should have a double bed, not twin beds pushed together. Overall disappointing view from hotel, tiny bedroom, no drinks machine in hotel, small coffee selection in room with awful creamer sachets instead of milk and only 2 or 3 sachets povided - we had to request more. No option for early check out in terms of food even though we had paid for B and B for all 3 nights - we had to leave at 4.30am with no breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel and suggest it should only be 2 star at the most.17 December 2008
