4.0 star ratingGreat value for mone. Wouldnt eat there next time would go into solihull. We had mountain bikes they locked them up in the hotel for us. Can I say that having had a really bad experience with booking.com recently how impressed ive been with hotelopia. Dont let the food put you off, at that price you can eat out we had champagne breakfast at the hilton 5 mins away lovely.....Room modern and lovely plenty of spacious.My evening meal was poor bit like warmed up canteen food, although the prawn cocktail was great.Debbie15 October 2012
4.0 star ratingGreat location for the NEC or LG arena approx 3 minutes walk, the receptionist even provided us with a map to the NEC (not that you need it as it was so close but still a nice touch). Very easy access from the m42. All round a good hotel for the price. 03 November 2012

4.5 star ratingWell situated for the NEC though it was difficult to find via the satnav. we had a pleasant stay, the bed was comfortable and rooms good. The service in the resteraunt was great and the head waiter very efficient adn friendly.Apart from having to return my steak twice the experience was good.24 December 2012

4.0 star ratingVery convenient location for NEC with on site parking, and free monorail to airport from nearby train station, friendly and helpful staff, very nice evening meal, free wi-fi available. Bed was hard with uncomfortable pillows. Some grout missing between the floor tiles in the shower. Cooked breakfast was awful however plenty of alternative choices, TIP * have toast, cereal or croissant, while watching out for fresh bacon eggs and sausages to be brought out. Only one device could log in to the wi-fi at a time maybe we could have asked for a second username and password but we didn't bother just took turns to log on.29 September 2013

5.0 star ratingDespite its location being next to the station and airport this was one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. It was perfect for my needs being a place to stay overnight having been to an event at the LG Arena. This is a "no frills" hotel but at half the price of others I was considering, it was truly excellent value for money. As it is popular as a "park and fly" hotel I was lucky to find a space in the car park and the overnight parking charge was a tad steep, but even then the overall price which included an excellent breakfast, meant it was still extremely good value.Anonymous 02 June 2015

4.0 star ratingGreat hotel for the price. Much better than expected. Spacious room. Decent breakfast too.Nothing negative about the hotel itself but the location isn't brilliant. It is primarily aimed at customers needing somewhere near airport, the NEC or other venues so this isn't a major issue. The access by foot to the venues is about 15 minutes and through an industrial estate - fine during the day but wouldn't use it at night. Anonymous 13 December 2015
3.5 star ratingStaff very pleasant and helpful. Convenient location for NEC, albeit a 10 minute walk through an industrial estate. Room comfortable and more than adequate for a one-night stay. Breakfast was good. This is a useful hotel for those working at the airport, train station or NEC.Dinner menu was very pricey for what you get. 3 out of 4 of us ordered steaks but they were all cheap cuts of meat full of gristle and not cooked with any particular care. In the unlikely event that we ever stay there again we will accept the inconvenience and take a taxi to somewhere other than the hotel for dinner. The ventilation fan in the shower room was not working so the room smelt of drains and stagnant water. There is a lot of airport and train station noise (to be expected) and this was supplemented by what appeared to be a lot of excited and emotional guests (or maybe it was staff) running up and down the stairs for much of the night. jfandango30 November 2015
