4.0 star ratinglovely clean hoteltwin room was booked and a double room was given, where told sofa bed would be made up and it wasnt untill early hours of the morning when back in room. friend paid for a bed and did not get one, sofa bed not acceptable! therefore lack of service was given . Also lack of service at breakfast as had to wait 10 minutes before approuched and given a seat . also had too pay to park in hotel car park , resident car parking should be given, overall not impressed ! 20 November 2010
4.5 star ratingClose to the NEC. Buffet breakfast was nice. We had our other meals in town. The train station is in the NEC, only a few min walk from the hotel.Parking was included on our room, saving £10 pounds.nonespydog10 March 2011
4.0 star ratingThe hotel is clean and the majority of staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is rather expensive for what you get but the quality if very good. When we arrived for our evening meal we had to wait ages to be taken to our table and were ignored by waiting staff. When taken to our table we were not asked if we would like a drink and then had to wait 10 minutes before we called a waitress over to take the order for our drinks. Some of the waiting staff were quite 'abrupt' to us. 11 May 2011
4.5 star ratingVery clean and comfortable, room good size, nice breakfast offered in the morning. Biggest perk for us was that it was a 2 minute walk to the entrance of the LG Arena which is why we booked a room.Having to pay for parking on top of your stay isn't particularly good. I would have thought that this would be waivered if you stayed at the hotel for any length of stay, instead it is £10.00 per night. Through no fault of the the hotel, unfortunately the distance the LG Arena and hotel are away from City centre is pretty disappointing, with shows finishing quite early in the evening and nothing staying open at the Arena there is nothing to cater for the people wanting to go on and carry on their enjoyable night. The hotel doesn't really cater for this either.DJP19 June 2011
4.0 star ratingVery good access for the NEC Exhibition CentreI did not like having to spend £10.00 for parking15 November 2013
4.0 star ratingFront of house staff very professional and willing to resolve problems quickly without any fuss. Very quiet, even when staying at the front of the hotel overlooking the entrance. Easy walk to the front entrance of both NEC and Genting Arena.(10 minutes across the lake on a pontoon bridge due to building works next to the hotel).Housekeeping staff not the best. Found mould on the inside of the drinks chiller in the room. Quickly resolved when mentioned to reception though. Also they had not spotted that the duvet cover had a small hole in it. Watch out for the addition of a 'Sundry Charity Charge' on your bill which is an optional charge you do not have to pay if you don't want to. This will not be mentioned unless you ask.HuntsLad30 March 2015
