The Grand Hotel Orlando is a newly renovated prime hotel located only 2.7 kilometers from Universal Orlando Resort, 6.4 kilometers from SeaWorld Orlando and is part of the I-Drive Resort area.  This remodeled hotel offers complimentary scheduled shuttle services to Universal Orlando® and SeaWorld Theme Parks as well as EPCOT and the Disney Transportation Centre at the Walt Disney World® Resort.Guests at the Grand Hotel can enjoy a variety of amenities at this hotel, including FREE Breakfast!  They can relax around the hotel's newly refurbished outdoor pool after a day of adventure at the parks while the little ones have fun at the kid-friendly pool play area. 5.0 star ratingThis is the hotel I will visit in my next visit to Orlando. I felt home here. Very professional and friendly staff. They helped me a lot informing me to go different vacation spots. Free shuttle busses to Disney and Unviersal. Most importantly, public transportation is in walking distance. I went to Universal Studio by walking-only 1.5 miles, vary enjoyed. I spent only $2 comming from hotel to the Orlando Int't Airport instead of taking a taxi. I will come back to the Comfort Inn over and over.Hasan05 April 2011

1.5 star ratingNone. Our hotel room was broken into and everything of value was stolen. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, and we were forced to sleep in the same room that had been compromised, with no refund. The porcelain on the lid of the water tank of the toilet was broken. The room was not clean. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and will always avoid comfort inns in the future. We will also make sure that the public knows about this by posting to every hotel review site we can.01 May 2011
5.0 star ratingThe front desk and security staff are excellent! The are extremly helpful and positive. The pool area is also very nice. We never had time to make it to breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. First let me start out by saying, the first room they gave us was disgusting. The room door was open when we arrived, there was trash left around the beds, there was a stick substance on the table and the bathroom was gross. I went to the frontdesk and asked for a change of rooms. The front desk person was extremly nice and changed our room right away. The second room, was a little cleaner but the air conditioner did not work. Went to the front desk at 11:00 pm. The front desk person again, was very accomodating and the security guard was the nicest man. They happily changed our room and apologized profusly for the trouble. After our third room change of the day we were happily settled. The owners of this hotel need to make some drastic upgrades to this sight. This could be a very popular hotel if the would spend the money in updating the site. The housekeeping service obviously stinks they need to be checked on by higher ups more frequently. There is no excuse for trash left by beds and broken air conditioners. frequent traveler25 June 2011
4.0 star ratingGreat value for the money especially with its proximity to Universal and Sea World. The shuttle to the parks was very convenient and enabled us to save a bundle on parking fees. The continental breakfast was nothing extraordinary but was more than adequate to prepare us for the day. I would stay again and would recommend this hotel to my friends.Nothing very negative to say. The cleaning crew could have been a bit more thorough. My daughter dropped a couple of french fries between her bed and bedside table on the first night. We noticed they were still there the next evening when we returned from the park. We decided to leave them as an experiment. They were still there when we left 3 days later. Still no big deal here. just a bit of a lark on our part.Nick26 July 2011

3.0 star ratingThe location of this hotel was really good. It was close to Universal Studios (1.5 miles) which was the reason why we were there. Also, the free breakfast it was a must. The front desk was very friendly and helpful too though. The lack of cleanliness! Everything was sticky. I found a lots of hair on the towels and floor too. Also, we didn't have a working ice machine nearby. In order to have some ice, we had to walk all the close to the front desk area. I know the hotel is a 2.5 stars, but I believe that all the 2.5 stars need to be at least clean. Thereza18 October 2011

2.0 star ratingThe staff is very kind and helpfull,This was our 3 stay in this hotel but also our last. Is seems as there wasn't anu maintenance since last year, it is is overall in a poor state. After a week our bed looked cleaned, but it wasn't clean...we got bedbugs...!!! (Yes, we became another room without any discussion.) The breakfast wasn't good as before, it was everyday the same, Not enough yoghurt, only a few days some fruit but not enough for everyone. Coffee and hot water should be available during the hole day,,,often cold and the water was like coffee... Y07 November 2013

 Once again we tried to stay at this hotel but we were overbooked and directed to sister hotel The Millenium Hotel.
