2.0 star ratingVery centralThe curtains were moth eaten; The bathroom was dirty - in particular the bath; For a double room we were offered just one towel; The bedroom smelt.19 April 2012
2.0 star rating1 member of staff tried to check us in early (however, the manager refused as it wasn't possible till 14:50...)Really unpleasant feel to the hotel as soon as you enter. The room felt like a prison cell with grey walls and not a single picture up. Bathroom was dirty and some walls in the room had stains on them. I'll never ever stay in a Travelodge again. It was not worth £44, I've stayed in better places for this small amount of money.Nina K10 April 2012

Also I like it becouse it is close to the centerFirst night shower did not work. Very noisy close to Anchor Rd in Bristol. I wish I had known I could have had a more quiert room. Scrambled egs too dry but the food was okMr Danish24 October 2012

4.0 star ratingOne member of staff was particularly helpful and friendly. Her name was Georgie. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for her and she was really pleasant and friendly. Very smiley. In general , staff apologetic about issues on booking in. Excellent location for centre of Bristol. Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet. Price - excellentVery basic. No toiletries , just one tiny bar of soap. Only one towel available on arrival. Additional pillows would be appreciated - one per person very basic. Problems booking in as our booking had not gone through. We were lucky that there was a spare room in the hotel. This was rather poor as it was a Saturday night, prior to Mother's Day and hotels busy. Not a goos start when folks are tired afer travel. The fact we had confirmation did not appear to make a major difference. Apparently there are often issues wuith this booking agent. One member of staff at breakfast was marginally confrontational when we advised that we had paid for breakffast as this did not show up on pc due to problems with rese5vation. We aere asked to provide proof. However the said Georgie mentioned above sorted this out very swiftly.13 March 2013
4.5 star rating-Good location and close car parking -Pleasant and helpful staff. -Informal atmosphere. -Good value breakfastNo major issues to report. If I must say something then it would be -On main road which can be noisy especially when you need to open windows on hot days. -TV sets could be improved. moudi01 March 2013
4.5 star ratingBasic hotel but clean with very helpful staff and very useful little diner. Location is very good but being on a main road, the noise can be an issue. Used Travelodge hotels for years. Very pleased with this one and have no negative issues to report.Maud29 March 2013

4.0 star ratingVery easy reach of river, which can be crossed by ferry (90p) to get to SS Great Britain. Room faces main road but no sound disturbance from neighbouring rooms. My wife wasn't keen on the shower curtains as they kept sticking to her.Anonymous 08 August 2017
