4.0 star ratingGood value for money, very central, nice rooms, clean, helpful staff.I was a bit surprised that we had to pay extra (quite a lot extra) for internet service. It would be a much more business-friendly place if wireless internet were free of charge.25 August 2008

4.0 star ratingFriendly helpful staff. Room cleaned well. Fresh towels. Lovely service in the restaurant. Good leisure facilities. Don't like people smoking outside the front door.19 November 2008
4.5 star ratingWe were allowed to check in at 10 am which was really useful as our flight into Bristol arrived at 8 am. Reception staff were polite, professional and helpful. The rooms were of appealing, modern and contemporary decor; they were quiet and very comfortable. We made use of the gym, pool and spa facilities all of which were included in the price of room bookings.Nothing.21 November 2008
3.5 star ratingAfter checking in we went downstairs for dinner. A waitress (who could hardly speak English) approached us and told us to wait. She then went away and we waited and waited and waited. It was getting late and we knew the restaurant would soon be closing. We then had to approach someone else and explain we were anxious to be seated in time to get a meal. He was very helpful and because of the late hour and the fact that we'd been kept waiting so long, gave us complimentary wine. His service was excellent but the waitress was not. The rooms were more than adequate and the hotel is lovely.12 December 2008
4.0 star ratingStaff lovely and helpful. Very clean where the redecorating was not occuring. The air conditioning did not work in our room on the hottest week of the year = so sleep was near impossible. I feel I should have been warned that the hotel was being refurbished. This is also possibly the only 4 star hotel in UK without free internet access in the rooms. I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it but I was disappointed this time due to the lack of ac.07 July 2009

4.5 star ratingA comfortable room with everything I needed.Reception busy so a longer wait than I usually have. Breakfast - I arrived and discovered the dining area virtualy full with coach parties. I fortunately found a table unlike those arriving for breakfast at 8am, when I checked out, who were queing outside the dining room. I would have had to miss breakfast if that was me. 4.5 star ratingWe were visiting a friend in Bristol and found this place for not much more than a Premier Inn/Travelodge. At that price, I would definitely recommend it. It was really clean, modern and most importantly very well located in the middle of the town.08 November 2010
3.0 star ratingIt was in the centre of Bristol so it was close to bars and restaurants. We were in room 316. When we checked in we couldn't get into the room and had to go back to reception to have the card re-programmed. After breakfast the following morning we went back to the room and the same thing happened, which was inconvenient. The standard of the bathroom was poor and the shower in particular was awkward to use. I would rate the hotel as a 3*, definitely not 4*09 November 2010

3.5 star ratingGreat hotel in a great city location, Good restaurants based around it. Room 122 we stayed in for 1 night, unfortunately the bed linen wasn't the cleanest in the world. Night life a little noisy!JAG30 October 2012
5.0 star ratingWelcoming staff, a newly-refurbished room, good spa facilities and above all reasonably priced on-site parking at a very convenient City centre location. We shall certainly stay here again and will have no difficulty in recommending this hotel to friends and colleagues. Alan G02 December 2012
3.5 star ratingBreakfast was very good (although not included). Hotel itself is very attractive and in a great locationRoom was tiny. Much smaller than a premier inn that would come at a much smaller price. We had to take it in turns to get dressed as there wasn't enough room. rordrobe01 October 2013
